The Holden is what I've always used. I just recently bought my first 10x10 nylon tarp with 19 attachment points and intend to learn some more setups. I dont have much time left. Im 72 and have had six heart attacks. The docs say i dont have much time left but i dont intend to die in bed. I bought a second tarp with only eight grommets. I also bought a bag of 20 tarp clips. I should be able to do just about any configuration my old noggin can comprehend. These vids demonstrate many of the ones I'm interested in. Thanks much. I have used a 6x8 tarp in a holden configuration and had plenty of room for sleeping. A 5x7 emergency tarp is a tad small for that so my "emergency" tarp is a 6x8 poly tarp. I just cant get along with a 5x7 lean-to or plough point.
The Holden is a great shelter option. I hope these videos can help give you some ideas. Sounds like you will have some fun playing around with different configurations. I like your attitude, live life to fullest and enjoy yourself. Thank you for being here and please take care of yourself my friend.
Haha, you're correct. If it makes up for my mistake, I'm having a coffee as I type this. Thanks for watching my friend and may God bless you and your's as well.
Is it called that because the pole is Holden the front up? 😂😂 Room for two people and their gear huh? I guess I know your plans for you and TB next trip... 🤣
