I think there's alot of unique ones but some I definitely couldn't put like Jin or ragnas. Don't worry though blazblue characters will be on these list for a good bit lol
Big Band has a mechanic where you can play music with his trumpet. As a result, you can rick roll them mid combo. One guy even did a Christmas carol when he got a Merry Christmas combo. It can result in dealing psychic damage directly to your opponent.
Funfact: Kanata support from Idol Showdown is the closest to Squigly's camera in recent years (i believed, correct me if i'm wrong) And have you heard about Hisoutensoku? That game having the craziest mechanics in fighting game i ever played.
I've also seen a similar example of 'locking the camera' in TFH with Texas' Lv2 For a grappler with armoured moves, preventing foes from running away at all for a while is huuuuuge
Pretty decent video! The only thing I'd criticize is that you missed showing clear examples of mechanics in the video. You explained pretty well what they do but did not display any interesting examples of these mechanics being in use. Point at stuff for us like we're babies who don't understand what you're talking about, because most of the times we don't. I haven't played MK either so I didn't get Sindel's mechanic or why is it cool. Overall your video was pretty interesting, keep it up!

You could fill the hole list just with blazblue characters, but I understand having to pick one to make it more interesting (I personally would have pick Kokonoe over Tager since I think the things she gets to do with her drive are weirder). Nice video tho, keep it up.
Oh trust me im already working on part 2 And I have so much ammo for blazblue lol. I'll try my best to keep it to 1 character per franchise but blazblue will probably keep showing up since they have some crazy candidates.
Susanoo is definitely making 1 of these list but puppet characters are kinda common now and zato-1 was before him so I'd put Zato over him for that personally.
