I'm surprised that dumbass cop didn't get shot for trespassing, same with the k9 unit and handler. Watched 1 video from the cop's dashcam. Cop trys to force up a gate but couldn't then climbs over it. 2 signs posted by the gate. 1 reads private property, no trespassing. 2nd says trespassers will be shot. Homeowners come home to see the cop car, he puts 3 bullets in the hood, and breaks the mirror and dents the front. Finds the cop and opens fire hitting him 3 times. Cop runs away while being shot at, and makes it to the hospital. Moral of the story. knock on the door and get a search warrant. Or get a bullet in the gut

@@ayeflippum Standing across a street on a public sidewalk does not interfere with an investigation. If you can interfere with an investigation just by standing there (and by there I mean a reasonable distance away) then everyone in sight should be arrested. The real issue you're making excuses for is that with a camera present it interferes with their ability to act outside the law because they could be held accountable for their actions - such as planting evidence, using excessive force, vandalizing, violating civil rights, etc.

They did that to a friend of mine. Then they ran his big dog down till he had a heart attack. And they were at the wrong house. It was heartbreaking, we were active duty military but they didn't care.

I was a cop for 12 years after working as a Firefighter/EMT for 15. The behavior demonstrated by these officers is absolutely deplorable. Everyone of them should be busted back to line officer and sent back through FTO to learn how to do their damn jobs right. If a cop ever talked to me like some of these did to the guy with the camera, I'd have their jobs for it. I know my rights, and I know the rights of anyone who wishes to take documentary footage with their phone camera. You can no longer look for a media truck for hot stories, they come from guys just like this one using their phone to capture video, and then selling the footage to media outlets who wish to use it. If they don't want to buy the video, fine, let 'em be the only station without the information. Officers do not have an expectation of privacy when they are standing roadside (this means parked, regardless if they are outside of their vehicle). Public servants who are paid from taxpayer dollars have a duty to act and a duty to maintain discipline and order of their own actions at all times. These morons just absolutely piss me off. This definitely is a 1st Amendment audit fail by multiple officers. Also, did that cop really think he could just use his personal phone on the taxpayer's dime and not have to submit it for examination upon a FOIA request? Fat and stupid. Sadly, it's the people who are the worse off for having idiots like these carrying badges.
