Really Really important to buy the factory coils, injectors, injectors, wires, and plugs. I know they will be more expensive, but I have a 2005 F250 Super Duty and bought two aftermarket injectors. I could never get those things to seat, even when they looked fully seated. I purchased the Motorcraft parts, and that problem went away. Same for the Motor Engine Oil filter and the fuel filter. Owning this F250 is the only time I have constantly used OEM parts. The tip to use OEM parts came from a highly respected Ford Mechanic, I really trusted the man. My truck runs like a top, just breaking it in, 110,000 miles.

I actually think that those odd taillight assemblies were added by Ford to the H-D F150s of this era. I think they’re factory. Please consider keeping this one if you can. It’s a cool truck and you got a great deal on it. It might be cool to find a rear-ended, unrepairable Lighting for an engine swap.

Randy I got an 01 f150 with 275,000 on it. I have some aftermarket coils. Normally only one or two ever go bad. The passenger back left coil under the AC line is the one that tends to go bad.

I like that CReader 6001, I paid slightly more for a used Innova 3030 some years back. Way better screen and GUI on the one you have. While I wouldn't ask Mike to use this on the HD F150 is I were you, a good way to save costs with work/farm trucks is to buy a gallon of Rust-oleum in black or white from Walmart, a quart is less than $10 or a gallon (~4x the price) and reduces with regular paint thinner. Cures slow, but the body will look new. Two-stage is optional, check for compatibility to avoid lifting issues. I doubt that truck, running that good, has ever sold so low. I'm a little green with envy!

Here in whicita ks we have a place called knipps they have stuff called eraser. It's an acid for chrome and factory rims. You just spray it on leave it for 30 seconds and spray it off. No polishing or scrubbing they will look brand new it even removes rust. they have a bunch of other products but I love the wheel acid. I used to spend an hour per rim on my 24s now I can make my truck look new in under an hour with power washer on caked on wheels.

To program the key fob cycle the key in the ignition 9 times until you hear the door locks cycle then press any button on the key fob and you’ll hear the door locks cycle again confirming you’ve programmed the fob. Turn the ignition off and you’re done. This works on all Fords 94-10 that use the older square key fob.

I got an O1 Expedition thats a real cream puff it has only 82k hwy miles. I has poor power at take off and shifts rough. I just had coils and plugs changed going to change out all 4 O2 sensors and the transmission shift solenoids. I hope this sorts everything out. NICE ONE YOU GOT TOO

If you have a starting problem with the key move the tilt on your steering column also check all clearance and brake lights too (possible short in column wiring harness mainly ground)!🤔😉 found out that by luck ourselves.

Use transmission assembly line for the injector orings. Regular oil or grease is petroleum base and will swell the rubber and tear them.

Very enjoyable video just wondering you ever find you should have a trailer to haul these vehicles in case they don't run. Just wondering the Vette won't work for hauling but this truck might.

I don't think there's problem with the tach. I think the needle is hanging up on the white overlay. My 02 supercrew did the same thing after I put the white gauges on it.

Couple of years late but I think you should keep the patina look, how many HD trucks have that? Also I just bought an 03 F 150 project truck. Going to make it look like a HD, I don't think they made any standard cab HD's.
