In '08 Ford changed the heads and eliminated the 2 piece plug problem (but still had that ridiculous cam phaser and weak oil pump in it). 04-07 had the 2 piece plug break problem but they also were prone to ejection as well from time to time (Ford not gonna give up selling heads). Tools and time-serts were developed because Ford couldn't get it together for damn near 10 years. I say that, but have 224k miles on my (maintained) '08 FX4. It has that typical 5.4 tick. Probably rebuild it sometime next year. Great video, loved it!

That ford van looks like a dream for someone who wants interior space, a crazy SPL audio setup, camper conversion, people mover, etc. Pretty damn reliable too from what I've heard.

I'm from Germany, and yeah the BMW names are like that. First the Series, than the engine. In the past the cars had really the liter that were given in the number, but since some years bmw has changed this system... And btw the E350 at 9:30 has 134k km, so only around 83k miles ;)

If the Ford Econoline is cheap enough, I think it's a good buy, don't underestimate that it's too outdated, there are ppl out there that don't have enough money to buy a well equipped more newer van but would still want a more budget friendly camper van for essentially serving the same purpose

the Harley Davidson f150 is my uncle's, it was a t-bone incident in Shawnee, a lady pulled out of a band parking lot and hit my uncle, he slid into the ditch. tbh it wasn't much damage

That titan was my uncle...... I think......... but anyway, it was a DUI and they ran a stop sign going 72 mph and the car was on the hood and he and is fiancé were okay but she was in the hospital for 4 months

As a car salesman, I figured that you'd like plastic engine covers. It makes it safer to pressure wash the engine without having to replace really expensive ignition cassettes like the ones found on mercedes-benz. I'm suprised that OK City will no longer guarantee keys with their cars begining Jan 1. In Dallas they've never guaranteed keys since I've been going. I bought a 2006 Dodge Ram about a year ago, Run & Drive, with keys, but when I paid for it they were like "Bad news, there's no keys" and before I could even open my mouth, she recited a well-practiced "This is a salvage auction, and there is no guarantee that there will be any keys". I ended up having to take the title to the dealership and they cut another key for me for $26. As a matter in fact, in Copart's Terms & Conditions, under disclaimers, about the 2nd paragraph it says "Copart does not guarantee that keys are available for any vehicle sold through Copart, regardless of whether keys are present in online vehicle images, or were present in the vehicle prior to the time of purchase." The exact same wording is copy and pasted on a notice in Dallas Copart lobby. I just bought another Dodge, no key, but this one was a 2008 and it was a transponder key. It costed me $397.98 to replace the key.

God that 650i is a beautiful car, one at my dealership sold one if those with 70k on the dash and it only went for 16k it was a white one and damn it was nice

Gone are the days when you could scope out salvage yards, bid and get bargains, re-build them, wrestle with the "rules" and get clear title(s), and make a few $$. Of course, occasionally, you would get "stung", and lose money - fortunately not often. Recently, I saw where a guy paid 20 G's for a Dodge Hellcat, with what seemed like major damage to the front end, and probably had some hidden damage, i.e. computers, etc. (not me, bud). So, gone are the days...

Hopefully one day Raptor will drop in value and become affordable

BTW I bought the SBB Key & ECM Programmer (China) for this very issue and it has saved my butt and money and that BMW for $650., StarCraft if cheap enough rip out seats and put raised bed small fridge/furnace/, A/C...! You should check Craigslist. I seen a truck gmc v 6 turbo syclone black that a fast classic. He had rust only in the fire wall . Says it don’t run but use to. Only asking 3,000

The BMW has a 4.8 V8, the N62B48 I think. Those are notorious for having some issues after 50k miles, they start burning oil (the valve stem seals go bad), ignition coil problems and the notorious VANOS VVT system. I am also not sure if this was the engine that had it's catalytic converters burn up and parts of them ending up in the cylinders lol. Only way to fix it is buying or making a DIY cat back exhaust!

5:55 figured that one out when I was 7 I guess, I mean, 318i is a 3-series with a 1.8 engine :) In Europe it's easier as we don't care about cubic inches, only about liters. But these days, a 650i could mean it's a 6-series with a 4.0 liter and 2 turbos. You know, turbo's = 1 liter of engine, sort of.

Randy about that Jeep Wrangler at @30:30... as much i know Wranglers have option to dismount doors from hinges and roof too...so doors should be around...and i think it might have an aftermarket suspension, since it's a bit taller than normal (maybe it's just because of tyres, but it's still a bit taller than it should)

hi randy. with bmw´s the first figure is the series in that case series 6. 50 was in the old days the ccm would translate 50 = 5 litre. it can be...but but its not anymore the case to be sure. like with the 3 series.....18,20,23 all have the same engine size but differnt power....so you cant say for sure without the label

That BMW 650 engine is a 4.8 liter V8. Those engines are problematic. Personally I’d stay away from that car. If you want a BMW, stick to the inline 6 engines.

If the rear frame is bent like that on the Raptor, Ford does not recommend straightening it. Their solution is a replacement frame. They do say the front frame can be straightened and welded - just not the rear. Brand new, the frame is about $4K. A used box is about $3K.
