WATCH: Investigators question Alex Murdaugh about the murders of his wife and son three days after they were shot to death. The disgraced lawyer first spoke with police at length for a few hours after they arrived at his South Carolina home and contained the crime scene on June 7, 2021. Three days later, Murdaugh spoke with SLED investigators further about the tragic slayings of Maggie and Paul.

It’s been 2 days, 3 max, since his wife and son were brutally murdered on the family property just a few minutes before he left the house to go “visit” his mother, and here he is chatting it up and making small talk every chance he gets. I went back to work two days later because I had no one to advocate for me and I didn’t know what else to do. My work only allows four bereavement days. A few weeks later I went to my doctor and she took me off work for a few weeks. Then I was pretty much a hermit and didn’t talk to anyone if I could help it. Some people go into kinda like a mechanical or automatic state when having to describe things like that. Like he has already gone over this in his head a million times, said it to officers and detective on and off the site, said it to family and friends and his lawyers multiple times... so he already has his story so he knows what to say. In a sense, it's like having your emotions exhausted or separate but your brain is still working to process speech but they are still in a state of shock. Personally I've reacted that exact way so that explanation makes sense to me. Or if you have experienced a death close to you, you freaked out at the moment but after a while of saying or talking about it, emotions could dull. Or like I said shock or being scared because you did it can act the same as each other because your brain is in overdrive watching very carefully that you don't slip up and say the wrong thing or too many things, that you're bot thinking about emotions because all your power in going to your brain and speech. Also he is a lawyer and will know what should and should not be said and how things usually pan out BUUUUUUT I 100000% believe he is guilty🫠🫠🫠🤡

I agree. I got more worked up when I witnessed a roll-over accident of a Chevy Silverado. I didn't know who they were. Icy roads, they lost control about 1/4 mi. in front of me and lost control and started fishtailing, finally crossed the center line, hitting the snow packed ditch and rolled 4x. After I pulled over, slowly, grabbed my cell phone, dialed 911, I immediately started running through the snow filled ditch not knowing what I was going to see or hear. I was way more freaked out than Alex finding his son and wife shot to death in a gruesome horrific scene. *The 2 young women in the truck ended up being ok. Both were seatbelted in. Passenger had a cut on her arm that was bleeding a bit, nothing serious. Truck landed on the passengers side with the wheels facing East. In order to see the young women and talk to them I had to get on my hands and knees and place my right ear close to the snowy ground and look back and up into the smashed windshield into the passengers side, where I could then see the driver hanging by her seatbelt. They were disoriented but alive. Thank goodness. No one else or any animals in the vehicle. I can't believe Alex in this interview showing little to no emotion. The accident I witnessed was on Jan. 3, 2020 and I still get worked up when I see it replaying in slow motion in my mind. Leads me to believe Alex is a cold blooded killer.

29:15 he starts "sobbing" uncontrollably, yet when he raises his head a few seconds later, there's zero tears in his eyes. His sobbing stops on a dime, and by the time the next question is asked his voice and demeanor are perfectly normal again. I've got more tears watching a sentimental TikTok video at 6am on the toilet. When asked about his relationship with Maggie, he gives the same exaggerated answer as that David Tronnes guy in Florida who murdered his wife, "Our marriage couldn't be better." Tronnes exact quote in his police interview was, "We were never more in love than now." Why is this interview being done in a car? Why not a police department like everyone else? Why don't the cops ask logical follow-up questions to Alex's story..... for instance, why did you decide to go to your mom's suddenly at 9pm? How convenient he leaves the house when the murders took place. Alex claims he fell asleep when Paul and Maggie went to the kennels. Well, if he's that tired, why would he suddenly drive to his mothers? Lots of follow-up questions that were never asked...
