Respect for the man in the motel leaving a note for the maids not to come in and to just call 911. If the scene was hard enough for a cop, who sees plenty of messed up things, to deal with, imagine how traumatic it would’ve been for the maids.

My mom works in a hospital and no the officer should have never been forced to hold the baby. wtf, that is not protocol at all. Hospitals cover the bodies and leave them for someone from the morgue to pick them up. This includes babies. They have beds for them.

I think what was most unbelievable was having a dead body let alone a dead infant in the ER in sight of others even if it was swaddled. Like didn't they at least have an empty room for the officer to wait for the people from the morgue in

My mother used to be a cop. She always described her job as boring, she primarily worked an area of schools in a bigger city. Other than hearing the wild things kids do in bigger schools, one story has really stuck with me. During one of her shifts, she texts my brothers and me that she loves us. I was instantly paranoid as I thought she was in danger, a general feeling of uneasy but I had no explanation. When she came home she broke down in tears as she had to confirm that a kid our age had taken his life. He had been being bullied and had no one to call a friend. She can't even hear our normal sibling banter or banter we do with our friends without reminding us that bullying can take lives. It is very hard to watch. She never cries and knowing how that kid probably felt as I have had issues, I cried too.

I used to be suicidal. I'm fine now, I'm out of the situation that was causing me to feel that way... But I never got out of it on my own. I was helped out of it every time. What a lot of people don't seem to understand is suicidal feelings don't come about when there's something you can do to unfuck the problem. You might be depressed, like, really depressed, but you wont start thinking about killing yourself until you are fully convinced that you don't have any way to fix things and this is just how life will be and it's just not tolerable at all. It took moving out of the state for me to stop feeling suicidal, and I couldn't have done that without monetary help from my family (of whom I am a black sheep). Our survival instincts as humans are very strong. It takes true hopelessness for an extended period to turn that around into "I want to die". Please understand this. FOr the love of the people you care for, understand that if you don't help them un-shit their life, you won't do them any good. From our perspective it feels like selfish bullying when you just try and make us feel better with words and small acts. We need help solving the problem that put us in this hole, we can't climb out on our own... So it *genuinly* feels like you're just saying "Don't kill yourself! That would make ME sad. How dare you think about making me sad!" I know that's not what you mean, but that's how it comes across in the mental state we're in while in the hole. Try asking about their life instead. See what the problems are. Attack those problems. Be like "I'm here for you." then punch one of their problems in the face. THAT is how you help.
@jayeckson
@jayeckson 7 месяцев назад
Yes, this. So glad you're doing better and I agree, I can't highly recommend enough making a drastic change in your life. It helped my mental health way more than meds or anything else ever did. I was in a hole so deep I didn't care anymore and didn't even realize how far gone I was. I quit my job and moved halfway across the state. Better climate, new people, fresh start. I know not everyone can just make this happen. I jumped blind and got lucky. But I almost immediately felt like a heavy, suffocating blanket got lifted off me. The world began to look totally different, like the sun came out for the first time in years and I could see again.

The red eyes are from broken vessels and a sign that the body is straining well past the point of breaking. This would make sense with the 'increased strength,' we are all capable of these feats but held back by our bodies natural restraints for... not breaking itself. Considering the timing of it, the poor woman likely caught something that is messing with her brain chemistry.... Probably unalived her.

Story 4 reminds me of the woman that was SAd and nearly decapitated. She had to walk down the road holding her intestines inside her body with one hand and use the other to hold her head up to keep it from flopping back (picture nearly headless Nick from Harry Potter) as she walked down the road to get help. After a story like these, I feel like I should remind everyone that you are loved. It doesn't always feel like it sometimes; believe me, I know. But there is someone out there for you. There are plenty of resources to help you out, and if you need help, I STRONGLY encourage you to seek it out. Find comfort in religion, a hobby, get a therapist, whatever you need. Remember, you are worth it. I myself am struggling with depression and a number of other things, but I'm also seeking help. So whatever you do, don't give up! Keep moving forward!

Hang in there. You might not think so, but your life has only just begun. It may take a while but your life WILL get better. I speak from experience. My teenage years….I came to a point where I had a gun and the only thing that stopped me was an image of how heartbroken my parents would be. They had already lost one child. I emptied the gun into the ground before I could change my mind. That was 1983. Things didn’t immediately improve, but Since then I have been married 33 years and raised a family, plus many other blessings. I didn’t find true peace until I came to Jesus Christ. He completely changed my life. Yes I do have the occasional bad day. They don’t overwhelm me like they once did. This, too, shall pass, and it does. He can for you as well. Seek Him. God Bless

had to help look for a lost 2 year old. The parents and grandparents were well known druggies. Thank goodness the child was found wondering around the neighborhood pretty quickly. A few days later, get another call from the home reporting that the child was missing again. Several hours go by and the child hasn't been found. Someone went and looked in the backyard, which has a pool. The child's body was found in the pool. Turns out both parents and grandparents had gotten high, forgot about the child, and they didn't realize that the child had been gone for hours. I still think about that poor child now. He would have been in his 30's , if he had lived.

I get panic attacks if I'm upside down. Have had that since childhood. When I was about 9-10, I was in swimming classes. I was never that big for my age. Or strong. The thing we were supposed to work up to was a summersault backwards into the water. We had to roll into the water as one of the first steps. I couldn't handle the roll and when they forced my body through it I panicked so much I struggled. They never tried to do that to me again, as I apparently broke the swimming teacher's arm struggling. She never blamed me. I didn't mean to do it. I just panicked and I don't remember what I did exactly.

Omg I have a super similar story. I had this swimming field trip in grade 3 when I was around 8 and at that point I had extreme anxiety and body image issues. I was already terrified to be in a bathing suit in front of my class and the anxiety I was having from thinking about needing to do a somersault into a deep pool while I already was a weak swimmer was tearing me up inside. I was the last kid waiting out of the pool and they told me that I had to do the somersault. I started crying when they began touching me trying to make me flip into the pool so they eventually ended up threatening me saying that I would have to be moved to the younger class for my lack of athleticism. At that point I was so embarrassed because my whole class was staring at me from the pool so I basically fell head first into the pool and ended up swallowing a bunch of water. It still hurts me to think of little me being basically threatened into doing something I wasn’t ready for and I never told my parents because I was so embarrassed. I kind of find it crazy that almost 7 years since that have passed cause the way I felt then is honestly burnt into my mind Something I forgot to mention was that the year before that I had brain surgery which made me SUPER afraid of hurting my head after the fact. It was for a brain aneurysm that was no doubt the most painful thing I had ever been through and it caused me insane amounts of trauma and fear of experiencing that pain all over again if I were to hurt my head.

@@AstraAnimates Omg... That attitude... that's super dangerous! Do they not realize that that's the exact opposite what needs to happen in order to make you progress?To be fair I've had my fair share of teachers like that, but my gym teacher who wanted me to do a certain gymnastics thing which involved standing on your hands (it was quite complicated, the final trick was to jump onto a jumping board into handstand and then flip forward back into normal standing position again or something similar to that). It was done in steps and I never got past the step of crawling your legs up onto the wall to sort of be upside down. He tried to force me into a handstand and ... yeah nope. I almost fell if he hadn't caught me. Then realized I was hopeless. Funnily enough he couldn't fail me cause if you put in the effort you couldn't fail. Hate pricks like that. But around water that's even more dangerous, with drowning being an additional risk

@eyenpersu5248
@eyenpersu5248 3 месяца назад
@@AstraAnimates Maybe they see it as 'motivation' to continue. But for kids already anxious (or people in general) that will make it worse! "You can do it." or "It's okay if you can't do it" are far more motivating. I wish I'd heard especially the last one a lot more. That would have given me so much more peace of mind. And it truly is okay. Sommersaulting into the pool is not a necessary life skill. The most important bit is that you feel at ease in water and can swim. Once I realized that bit I got back into swimming again. It took me a long time as well to not feel selfconcious in a bathing suit, and I still do sometimes, but just the ability to swim gives me so much freedom.

Sigh I wish you guys weren't resorted to using terms such as Unalive because of stupid RU-vid rules, because we shouldn't be afraid of talking about these things when it comes to preventing suicides, murders, etc. Stupid....

All you're saying is "You guys should purposely not make money because I'm annoyed about something". Who's the actual stupid one? Everyone agrees RU-vid's rules are stupid, but its the game you got to play if you want to make any money at all.

Why do you always say “unalive”??

RU-vid monetizes freaking everything, this guy understandably wants to keep his video up so he tries to make it youtube guideline friendly.

It baffles me that people still ask this question when this has been a thing for years at this point. RU-vid demonetizes anyone who says the word "kill" or "suicide", along with quite a few other words.

I noticed that most of your videos are made up of stories that have already been posted by other channels, in the same exact order even. Just like this one, I know these stories, and I remember hearing them in the same order in another video... Not really original content...

Story 8--most people of faith are not mentally unstable. The fact the woman was schizophrenic and was having delusions, and tried to deal with it by hanging crosses on the walls doesn't mean she was actually religious.
