Leigh Silver Well, she is her step-mother after all. And she could never kill her. There were so many moments when she couldve killed her, but she never did. Because she still sees Snow as her daughter and thats also why she has a soft spot for children ;-)
I think at 1:57 was the exact moment the past was put behind them for good. That Regina was willing to shield Snow and Snow realized just how much Regina cares for her again. It was sad that at this moment Snow was surprised but it was really touching.
I think even _Regina_ was probably surprised. The attack came, and Regina probably acted without even thinking, and I'll bet the realization surprised her just as much as Snow. "I love Snow White!" It had been true for a while, but I'm not sure Regina fully knew it.
In 0:36, for just a second, Regina puts her hand over Snow's stomach, just like Snow is too! I love the relationship between a motherly Regina and Snow. Just as a mother/daughter thing, btw!
OUAT just wasn't a horror and monster,ghost summoning fantasy show but turned into that as well😂😂😂I loved how protective Regina was towards Snow during this scene,it meant that finally she moved on from her anger over the little girl,once she wanted to look after!
This scene is so creepy to say the least but so well put together, as usual. There's that one split second of silence at 1:25 when Snow looks at Regina "Ah, you do care." and then 1:26 "Oh, snap!" Lol
Cora seems so disappointed in Regina and mad at her. But what was Cora expecting for Regina's whole life all she ever did was follow her orders and do what she wanted her to do. So i am glad Regina has gained control her life knows what is right and has more of heart now.

It makes perfect sense why they used Rose instead of Barbara.. bcos, i don't think Regina had an idea of what Cora looked like when she was younger until now. i was fine with this, still happy that Barbara was on Wonderland tho.. that helped me to love the Queen of Hearts, just makes me feel more sad about The Miller's Daughter in this episode. Regina holding off Cora and saying to Snow White that "if she wants to kill you she has to go through me" on the irony Regina has tried so many times to kill Snow White because she holds her responsible for losing her first true love Daniel. But Cora did that so that she could make Regina the most merciless evil Queen she always wanted. So Daniel's murder was just a spark of lightning.

@@soixsantes She was already evil. Because all her life she wanted power. And to get that she didn't hesitate to rip out her own Heart. And she even killed Snow White's mother to make Regina queen. But killing Snow White's mother was out of vengeance since she had treated Cora badly and humiliated her. She wanted to make her Daughter Regina just like her. Imposing threats and fear on her subjects and hungry for power. That's why you see when she realised Rumplestilskin/ Mr.Gold/ Dark One was dying she wanted to stab him with his own dagger and become the next Dark One. However when Snow White's mother had died on her funeral Cora vowed to her that she'll make Snow White heart as black as coal . And Snow White's heart did start tarnishing when she cursed Cora's heart and indirectly or directly killed her. If that makes sense!!!
I think what we see here is what Cora _really_ thinks of Regina. She'll play Mommy for her as long as she's useful, but I think Cora sees Regina as a tool, and a sometimes exasperating one. Notice the casual, nasty way she slaps Regina aside. I also don't really think she was trying to communicate via Snow, I think that sort of a side-effect. My gut hunch is that Cora wanted to possess, permanently, Snow White or her baby and get back into the game that way. I'm not even sure her apparent salvation in the underworld was what it appeared to be, I wouldn't be surprised if even that was an illusion or something. (I think it was for real with Henry Sr, but I'm not so sure with Cora.)
Well, not quite perfectly. I don't think she planned on Regina and Rumple shoving her into Wonderland, for ex. But yeah, things usually ended up going her way, because she's way too smart for everyone else's good.
Uh, I thought it was Barbara Hershey who played Cora, I'm soo disappointed that it was Rose McGowan, Cora wasn't killed when she was young so it was supposed the spirit is the adult Cora that is Barbara Hershey
akaj2013 I guess so, since Cora's scene more to when she was young so they just use Rose McGowan instead Barbara Hershey. But somehow I missed Barbara Hershey, she's far more beautiful than Rose McGowan, she even didn't look like 60+.

Actually, they're quite good at it, or at least good at starting...but they can't stick to a plotline. They managed it in S1-S3A, but after that they kept starting up interesting plotlines and concepts and then suddenly dropping them for something else that conflicted, or made less sense. They got off to a bunch of good starts but somehow never quite finished a lot of them.
