Thankyou fir sharing the knowledge. Great to see what gearing works with a drill, and that it has enough power. Ive got some "retired" drills and didnt fancy buying a motir and controller etc etc like so many pimped bead rollers on youtube. Ive done similar tbings with drills and usually run a string round the trigger down to a bit if wood as a pedal. Getting it the right lenth is a fiddle and for the next one i was thinking a push bike brake and cable.
Those are good ideas too, we didn’t think of a brake cable, pretty smart! The drill works pretty well, it doesn’t like some of the thicker sheet metals but that is to be expected. Thanks for stopping in and leaving us a comment!
