The stability ball is one of the most effective ways to train your core. So if you've got one of these big balls hanging around and maybe you've forgotten what you can do with it, haul it out! Get ready for twelve minutes of "fun" no matter your fitness level. Although this is pretty much an intermediate circuit, I'll show you a few tricks to take this workout to the next level. Enjoy! xo

I was taking online classes from 9 - 5 so I was having to sit for long periods at a time. ru-vid.comUgkxEhgucmXpcAGYh8fatGFEnOK2V97VIwhG After the first day in a regular table chair, I thought about an exercise ball and ordered one that night. It came the next day! My hips, legs, back and butt couldn't have been happier! I'm almost 5'11" and I ordered the largest size and it was perfect for me. I also have RLS (restless legs) and this helped so much.Pumping it up was a little challenging and definitely gives you a good arm workout, (I'm a 62 yo woman) but it's very doable. Getting the tape centered with the hole to inflate it and then getting the pin back in was also a little tricky. But I love my new "chair" and I love the torquiose color. Hopefully it will also get used for exercise. 😁

It's a stability ball from muscleup.ca but you can find balls like these on amazon etc.

Thanks a lot for the great exercises. I am failing to do the inverted crunch. Trying to place the ball against the wall and do the crunches as a beginner. However, while going back to the original position, I am losing balance. Please share some tips on how to do it correctly :) Looking forward to your reply. Your exercises are great and yes not an easy one :) They are really deceptive as you say :)

I think it mostly takes practice and perseverance but the more leg you have on the ball, the easier it is. As you get stronger you move towards only having the tops of your feet on the ball. Hope that helps! xo

Barefoot is always a little harder - works all the tiny muscles in the feet - some people only train barefoot. It's really up to you! Either way is great!

No - you can't stand on the ball. It's not stable enough. You would need a balance ball or BOSU for that.

Is it safe to do the abs exercises with pelvic prolapse issues. I need the abs but fear there might be too much pressure in the bladder/pelvic floor area. Any safe alternatives? Thank you.

All of my workouts address the whole body - but often with an "emphasis" on certain areas. This one is a great example. Although you're focusing on core, it's more than that. Arms, legs are also recruited!

These were great moves! From one instructor to another, maybe try giving a small 10 sec or so break in between each exercise so you can better explain the move without compromising the time or run through them a the beginning and let viewers decide whether to skip right to the circuit. Just a suggestion but I really did enjoy the video!
