@@hemmatv1582 Same choice that i made with a yoga 7i 9th gen (125U vs 155u) some month ago... For now i must say that i'm not disappointed (And i saved 250€ on top of that if i remember correctly :) ).
@@93simon1Additional 4 P cores make a big difference in CPU intensive tasks plus don't buy a laptop with 6400 MT/s ram. Go with a 7464 MT/s RAM version.
I probably should have waited for an AMD variant of the X1, but I bought the one with the 155H. I also own a 6800u GPD Win 4. A lot of my gaming in more demanding titles is on my PC, but for portability sake, I don't mind rendering at a lower resolution and then upscaling to achieve 35-40 FPS. I'm glad Intel is trying to further develop their iGPU and GPU products, and hopefully they'll have something more competitive with AMD soon (NVIDIA quite a bit later, I'd guess).
They are not bad at all and they are not intended to "force" games on the highest details in that handheld console, with a few small compromises with the graphics (medium settings for example) it is very easy to get a "playable" 60fps, which is quite enough for comfortable gaming.
I keep coming back to this video, one thing ill like to mention is with intel iGPU's (if it still works this way with the new CPUs) is from memory CPU temps and load are prioritized instead of iGPU, so it will often hinder the GPU, under extreme utilization, cyberpunk being a good game to show that, many CPUs try to utilize as much as possible anyway, this often happens with the i7s rather than the i5s as there is just less CPU overall, having a manual clock limit or disabling HT can often make this better in some cases, but it is kinda rare tbh and the i7 is typically overall better.
I wanna know how much performance it will perform like the MSI claw, but it might perform a little bit different, but it might perform is a difference of that so we’ll see
Cyberpunk is odd. Maybe two less P cores is an advantage for the 125H because more power budget is left for the GPU. Power management seems terrible, it's like Intel prioritizes CPU over GPU like in the old days. Do you have DTT installed? Also newest bios?
Well this is were I get to see which of my handheld enthusiast channels are sell-outs. If anyone is praising and hyping the Claw before we see the flop of a platform it's running on, I'll be unfollowing. The Steam deck is 2 years old almost to the day and runs games better than this at 15 watts for half the price. It's actually sad.
can we have a test with Core Ultra 9 185H as that's the one I want to get. Thanks! Also how much VRAM have you allocated in these tests? I assume you have 32GB ram of system memory?
@@samserious1337 yeah it's always a bit weird with the OSD since the readings aren't always complete or correct considering the wattage when it comes to very new hardware. Unfortunately... Sorry ☹️
This is a bit harsh - I'm playing plenty of games on my HP Spectre 14" with Ultra 7 and Arc Graphics. 900p is the sweet spot, looks fine on a 14" screen and it just takes the edge off that 1080p memory bandwidth issue. Performance is equal to or better than a 780m, so not sure what more people expect.
@@Hubwood how much difference with 780m ? And which is better between core ultra 7 155h and Ryzen 5 8640hs for light-medium gaming and rendering in blender ?
@@Hubwood yeah amd seems to do better in hogwarst even better than nvidia and this performance for intel IGP is excellent i guess, do you have problem with driver for this IGP? just hope the price would be lower, seems booth red and blue jack up their product recently, amd did a d*ick move for newest 7000 series mobile rebrand from 5000 series, yup same chip, jack up the price, okay intel got brand new chip but the price is still high booth red and blue chip is so damn pricey
If you are an Advance user maybe ASUS ROG Ally + iGPU Radeon R700+FSR3 has eGPU Function is the best choice for the greatest performance vs Intel Core Ultra + iGPU ARC maybe better driver Optimization for DX12 API and longer battery life for any user.
look i get its a iGPU and i came here because i want to do some gaming without having the burden of a gaming laptop since i have my own desktop at home and im 45-50 MAX away from home so cloud gaming too HOWEVER the way you put this review is like your dogging on the product :p yeah FPS wont be great in FH5 on HIGH cause its literally a iGPU

Sorry, the Ultra core 5 Laptop had 16Gb soldered ram, like all ultra core 5 laptops. I will compare the RX 780M with the ulrta core 7 at 32Gb of course!
