I have to remind myself that it took decades of crappy eating to get to the poor health I suffered with. I need to be patient with healing from a proper human (carnivore) diet. So many things are better and some set back due to surgery is to be expected. The good news is that my corneal transplant is attached and doing well. The misery for me has been the combination of environmental allergies with ablation. Ablation is done with laxer technology to both remove surgical scarring and rough / irregular cell growth due to Epithelial Basement Membrane Dystrophy. In removing the surface layer a raw surface is left behind. I spent the day irrigating my eye with cold saline and alternating with warm compresses. Pain medicine would unfortunately cover up the potential symptoms of a graft rejection. Light sensitivity made any type of productivity impossible. Light exposure to my left eye causes pain in my closed right eye. I was grateful to have book cassette recordings from the library for the blind and disabled to listen to today.
