Join me for a carnivore journey! I have so much more energy and pain free most of the time. I am sleeping more soundly, stopped snoring, and I wake up before sunrise🌅 ! I walked 2.5 miles/ day for the past two years and have now doubled that to 5/ day in only the first two weeks. I plan to hike the Appalachian trail starting Feb. 2, 2024. I am eating a Lion diet so I am making a lot of pemmican. At day 30 I am down 13 pounds and walking 7.5 miles a day.
You’re doing so great!! Thank you for being so positive and inspiring and encouraging!!!Sending love and prayers that God bless and strengthen and help you in such a great way! 👏❤🙏✝️💪🥩🥓🥓🧈❤️
Do you think that if you had started carnivore diet before transplant could avoid the transplant?? I’m asking because an uncle needs a transplant but don’t know if by going on carnivore may help. Thank you
I imagine because I have trouble breathing? I have heard of whim hof. I did do a trial lesson. I kind of forgot about it! Thank you for reminding me. I will look into learning more about it.
Todah Raba! As a follower of Jesus, your recorded prayer has given me new insight into the phrase “lead us not into temptation” from the prayer Jesus taught his disciples. A humble awareness that very few follow Yetzer Hara knowingly. There is an inversion that can take place, where one is convinced that they are following Yetzer HaTov, all the while it is Yetzer HaRa they are yielding to. I always think of Judas at times like this. I think he rationalized his betrayal as helping Jesus to get through his “messianic crises” and have no doubt that when that thought/voice moves from tempter to accuser to self harm, It’s not the Yetzer HaTov. “There is a way that seems right to a human … but in the end it leads to death”- I gotta wonder about a proverb that appears twice in Scripture! Proverbs 14 & Proverbs 16. In a book full of wisdom, it appears twice! Lord lead us not into temptation as we humbly seek to discern Your voice from all other voices.
Your story and journey is very touching. I was glad to have recently discovered a carnivore eye doctor, Dr Lisa Wiederman, Optometrist. She sometimes answers difficult questions. All best wishes to you!
Hi Graham! My eyesight not surprisingly parrallels my health journey. Ups and downs like a rollercoaster. My eye doctors have assured me this is normal. I will share more about that later. I appreciate you too! Thanks for being so active in the community and encouraging.
Glad to hear your eye is feeling better. Have you thought about trying castor oil in your eye? It has amazing benefits for many things and can be used in the eyes, so I'm wondering if it might help with the healing. Either way I hope it gets better quickly for you.
Im carnivore for years but last week was diagnosed with glaucoma IOP 30 in both eyes. Looks like keto/carnivore dont help much in the eye pressure department... My optometrist said my optical nerves look terrible and the same thing for my retina. Interestingly my vision is pretty good on both eyes which my doctor is surprised by. I will get surgery for my eye pressure and if vision continues as it is , all good. If one day I go blind , I dont care. I will probably die not to soon after it which is cool. I'm 43 years old, if I can milk out another 7 years I'm happy....
@@brobertson251 Doesnt help, I was full carnivore for years and developed glaucoma while on an exclusive carnivore diet , I'm a very fit 6'3 180lbs man 43 years of age, have an 80 fasting blood sugar , low blood pressure , Im the picture of health but my eye pressure IOP is 28, carnivore doesnt do shit about it. Im considering fgoing vegan to see if it will lower my eye pressure.
I am Carnivore for 3 years now and my eye sight has improved heap.. Of coarse no sugar helps...carbs and Keto have sugar..but Carnivore has very little.. You will find it will get better..
Lifting you up in prayer!!! Hey you have hair to put in a net 🙂 Thankful for the nerve block for sure. Yay for the apnea resolving too. I will keep praying for your recovery, and praising God for your sweet friend who is helping as well.
Yes! Thank you! I appreciate your prayers. Please pray for my friend Sylvia, she wants to go to a carnivore diet but struggles with her carb addictions.
I like all of your potential video ideas! There are thousands of NSV's vs weight loss only being one metric. I think this puts things in perspective. Its similar to life, we cant just focus on one area...if we do...we miss out on so much! Good video!
It was so nice meeting you today on Scotty’s live stream. Thank you for the information… makes so much sense that muscle weighs more than fat.. explains my weight stall. I look forward to following your journey Xx
Yes! If you think about it, our bodies have been starving of the proper nutrients for years. Best to focus on healing first and optimal weight later. No sense in putting the cart before the horse!
As I watched this update I couldn't help but think of a country song being played backwards, you are getting so many health issues back/better. I love hearing how your endurance has tripled!!! Then I hear of the challenges of getting around and the potential need for you to have to sell your home to move to a location with better public transportation and my heart ached. I am so sorry to learn that this is the current state of affairs. Yet you are taking the challenges on one by one, and are triumphing over so many of them. Here's to your future victory over your eye conditions. Great to hear your story on how this way of life is really improving so many issues for you. Have a great weekend, and am looking forward to out next interaction.
Thank you Scott. You are such a sweet soul with a tender heart. If it weren’t for my carnivore community I would be very alone. I don’t make friends easily. At sixty, I did some tests that doctors use to diagnose autism. I definitely tested on the spectrum. My son has Asperger’s and my Dad is very much like him. I happen to be the link between them. In Oklahoma, Tulsa has the only clinic to diagnose autism in adults. I think about a diagnosis more for my grandkids than myself. I am much less irritable, less anxiety, much less depression, and already stepping out of my comfort zone regularly. So the carnivore diet helps with most things.
