I love the way Blanche slightly bounces in her seat as she grasps the opportunity to inform the meeting of Ken's recent affair. Just wants to keep everyone up to speed.
My favourite ever scene from corrie, the barlows aren't the same without blanch and diedre, miss them both! 'Well what am I doing, chewing corn for gummy parrots?' Hahahaha, awww RIP you wonderful ladies!
My God Blanche... I had tears streaming down my face.... "No but it made her hit her boyfriend with a blunt instrument". Blanche's family therapy episode is the one that got away. Legend!
They need to release a DVD of Blanche's greatest 'hits'. SO SO FUNNY : ) Remember one Christmas she commented that Deidre's turkey was "dry enough to choke a dog"? LOL
Since you wrote your comment 12 years ago, I don't think Corrie has ever been the same without her. People say classic Corrie was the 60-70s, but I think it was the 2000s because of Blanche.
RIP Maggie!! This scene is sooo funny am gonna miss Blanche! Maggie is such a gem all the cast have said they are gonna miss her, Bill Roach has even said she is wittier than Blanche off screen.
One of those rare moments where every single line and gesture is perfect, even the extras are hilarious. That woman gasping when Peter says Tracey's in prison 😂
Brilliant stuff, i still laugh out loud to this day, Maggie and Anne were great actresses who worked great together and had unbelievably good chemistry. They’re both sorely missed
'Well it didn't make Tracy hit the bottle' 'No but it made her hit her boyfriend with a blunt instrument' hahaha fantastic! =D. This is one of them videos that I have to come back and watch every now and then because it always makes me laugh everytime, fantastic acting, a classic scene and classic Blanche, RIP.
Without doubt THE FUNNIEST scene on Corrie, possibly one of the funniest scenes on TV! Thats one of the best things about Corrie, it doesnt try to be a comedy, it doesnt try to be a drama or a tragedy... It just IS without even trying! Lets hope Blanches humour lives on in Deirdre and Tracey in their old age eh? Happy 50th Corrie, heres to another 50!!!
thanks so much for uploading this, the funniest thing I have seen for a long time. The Barlows were great especially Blanche - hope she wins an award for it!
No wonder it was the best moment!! Ever and Peter covering his face at end said it all!!! He better live on current story line. However Blanche was a corner stone, this had it all EastEnders eat your heart out the chemistry between them also was great real father/son mother/daughter etc hilarious stuff the Barlow's really are something else long may the rain on Coronation Street - all generations of them!!!
This gets better every time I watch it. You can see Blanche loves it as well - the look on her face at 2:30 when she spots an opportunity to get in a public dig at Ken! :D
