It's definitely a major annoyance now but once you sit in that car and drive it for the first time, you'll forget all about how long it took to get here. It is a fantastic car and ranks high in smiles per gallon! Cannot wait to see the content, mate!
Congrats Chuck! Looking forward to the delivery video and more M2 Comp adventures! Maybe some autocross in the M2’s future? They can be pretty competitive in mostly stock form.
Sorry you missed out Chuck! I bought an X5D when I lived in Germany. It was built in the Carolinas and shipped to Germany so I could take a lesser delivery package which involved it being in the showroom with a big red bow and a night in a hotel. Drove it home the next day in snow and for the next 1-1/2 years on the Autobahn before using the free BMW ship to U.S. plan LOL!
Hey so you gotta remember I legit ordered a 2020 in Jan/Feb of 2020 pre-covid stuff. It was a euro delivery so I got that 3% and I managed another 6% honestly without much hassle from the dealer. When ED got cancelled and my order got bumped to 2021 my dealer let our deal stand. With production ending in June and allocations drying up in guessing deals will be harder to get. Where are you located I can hook you up with my guy and see if he can help?
@@TWRX_Chuck Thanks for the info; I know production is ending soon, but I figured sales were still slow, so I would have more leverage in squeezing out some more discounts. I'm out in Detroit area, but I am planning to do the South Carolina pick up (would do euro delivery if it was still available :( ), so like you said in one of your other vids, where the dealer is located doesn't matter as much. I'd appreciate the hook up for sure!
