The Coronavirus outbreak is a developing story, and the WHO has recently declared the virus a global health emergency. In reporting what I know, I share my own insights and experiences, mainly to help combat misinformation and anti-china racism and xenophobia. If you have medical concerns about the Coronavirus, please consult a real medical professional. If you have any questions, please feel free to let me know.
Thank you Sean! Very good and informative video. I hope you will continue reporting as you find out more. It looks like you might live in the Futian District. It would be helpful to know where you're located if you do some more man-on-the-street videos. As you know, Shenzhen is a large city. Even the names of the malls and places you're reporting from, would be helpful. I am not in Shenzhen now, but I travel there a lot for business. When I'm in Shenzhen, I stay in Huaqianbei. Thanks again.
Hi Jim, thanks for watching! I indeed live in the Futian district of Shenzhen, specifically near the Xinzhou area. I specifically shot the video at the walking around portions of the video at the "One Avenue 卓悦” shopping mall, the rather large one with the giant faux gold nugget on display at the entrance.
No problem Curt, and thanks for watching! It's definitely an important topic these days, especially with the recent WHO announcement, and there is a large amount of racist, geopolitical, and downright false information going out over social media. I wanted to help people understand what it's actually like to live here during this crisis.
