In europe we use Seat Ibiza 2fl 1.9tdi shifter. Works like a charm.

That Rrado looks amazing :) I'd only put back badged grille. Great work, and I guess that Polo box would also work on MKII platform? Congratulations on the Offspring! :D

Congratulations… ( on the baby not on the 02j mod 😂 ) Also when you swapped the shift tower do you have to swap the VW cap under the gearbox ? I have the 2.8L Vr6 from the mk3 and can’t find any info if it’s the same as the corrado gear box

Thanks man!! My transmission shop put the shift tower in for me, but as far as I know it's the same. I think the only transmission difference is the Corrado has a different ring and pinion which makes for shorter gearing.

The Corrado and MK3 02As are the same, except for the ring & pinion. Yes you have to change the bottom cap for the shifter. It has to match the 02J shift tower.
