This is a fantastic review. I just bought his keyboard and then started looking to see if there was a smaller 50key version. Thanks to your video I now know that I'll stick with this one because the Cherry MX keys are MUCH louder and the whole inspiration for getting this keyboard in the first place was to get a silent keyboard. People should know that this keyboard does have software that you can download from the Corsair site that allows you to customize everything, including the lighting, and people should also note that it's much more silent than in your video. The mic on your camera is very sensitive. I hit my keyboard pretty hard when typing and this K55 is amazing silent. I'm super happy with my purchase. I got mine here in Canada for $80, and I think that's a fair price. Also the Windows lock button is a brilliant add-on. I love it.

You can use icue as software to do the macros and RGB btw amazing review I have it myself and it's an amazing keyboard

I have the k55 and you can use the cue software. So you can do a lot more then people think you can.

Hi Nick. First off, great video! You covered everything I was wondering about on the Corsair K55 and more, and with great quality audio and video. I do have one question though: Can I use this keyboard on my Macbook Pro laptop? (It does have a USB port)

Are you able to swap the caps? It didn't come with a cap puller.

I've got a question. I'm about to buy this one but I need this answered before I buy it. If I turn off my PC, and turn it back again, will it remember the LED settings I used last time before I turned it off?

I have a Logitech g11 with membrane switches that have a kind of tactile bump, how about this? Is there any kind of feel indicating that the key activated?

There is a software called iCUE so you can customize you keyboard with way more options

Is anyone having the problem with the K55 where the lighting is stuck on the mode it came in rainbow wave I can’t change the lighting without the software I tried pressing funtion with 8 and no results.

I have almost same keyboard from connect it . Before you buy it thing about G buttons on left side i always click on G 6 instead of Ctrl just tip.
