Corvair Cooling Sheetmetal tips - What to check for.. 

Yes - FOund it - Took me awhile as it was hidden in the catalog on page 102. The part is C9222. Works on all cars except air conditioned cars. They need a version for those as they need it more!

@@Jesvox1234 Oh those you have to buy from a Used vendor. Lots of sources in the corvair FB group pages. You'll find one fast there. I'm sure Steve Morton in ID has one.

Yes - technically it routes to a blend door so the heat lever can add more cooler air when up or all heat when down. But you are taking away pressure that's needed for engine cooling. So blocking it off as well as the inner blend-door area on the heater box improves both functions - more heat! Now my 66 can be driven in -11F like I did the other day.

Folded fin as I call them - are the best for all years. Some prefer the 12 plate but that folded fin is absolutely fine.
