Yeah - myself , I do them one cylinder at a time too and turn the crank each time. It's funny how some people can turn it into such a task when it's not much harder than setting an alarm clock. Thanks for viewing and commenting. Kevin.
Three things I never discuss: religion, politics, and adjusting valves on a corvair! I've always adjusted them similar to the way in this video except I do one cylinder at a time, in the firing order at TDC. Did many Corvair engines over the last 30 years and no problems!
Funny to see this old video as it makes it look like you really needed to do this back in the day almost as a regular service. Wonder if dealers even had the special tools listed back then.🤔
I've never adjusted valves on any Chevy engine when it was running...including the Corvair. Done properly I've never had to readjust a motor after initial startup in my life. If you find it necessary you're doing it wrong.
