The C8 ZR1 will most likely come in AWD and still use the Z06 engine with added electric motors for 800hp. The Zora will most likely be the 1000hp variant and also be AWD. The Z06 is already damn close to the GT3 RS on road course times. They will keep the ZR1 AWD with some added electric motors and it will beat Porsches baby. Good competition.

The ZR1 is getting twin turbos for 850hp. The Zora is adding electric engines to that for 1000hp plus. Engineers/mechanics already broke down the C8. The body is already setup for electric engines/front wheel drive

I’m already seeing C8 Z06 with markups upwards of 200,000$ When Chevy said they wanted the C8 to be an affordable super car they probably didn’t expect the market and dealer markups to have such an impact. At this point it’s as expensive as super cars themselves.

The C8 ZR1 will be 800hp with the option to add the electric motors from the ERAY for a “1000hp” car and if it’s not an option those electric motors will be standard imo

Is this a wishful, hoping that you can convince GM to reproduce the 2019 Sportster ZR1 will come back because I am not impressed or happy with the introduction of the 2020 corvette Stingray at all but I am a fan of the 2019 Sportster like many others.

I'd love to be able to buy a 2 door ev made right here in the good ol' USA! Gas, hyrbid, ev, AWD and/or RWD are all good options, but just keep it 2 door. The market is oversaturated with fugly 4 door family trucksters! I realized GW Bush forced 4 doors down our collective throat holes with his 2007 bill saying if it has 2 doors it has to get great gas mileage or pay a fine, but if you make a ev and/or hybrid option you can skate around the gas mileage 4 door requirement. An inexpensive, light weight 2 door SUV that doesn't bear the cost of 4 door crash testing could be a great answer to the Maverick. I want one! An ev with a solar sunroof and V2X 2 way power would be perfect for me; others might prefer gas or hybrid; that's fine, just please keep it 2 door...pretty please!!!

Quite a difference in price between the C7 and C8. I remember the C7 Stingray cost $60-70k, and the was $20-30k more, and dealers didn't automatically expect their mark ups. Major price bumps with the C8. Is it worth it? Not for me. I'll stick with my C7.

They will probably use the Z06 engine and do a hybrid up front like the E Ray and call it a day and ZR1 at the same time.forced induction with the flat plane crank engine could be done but the reliability and longevity might not be good for that motor. A hybridized version of the more powerful flat crank engine is what GM will probably do IMO.

It looks like the performance is right there with other supercars. However, will the build quality be there as well or will it be standard poor GM quality? How about the clown gauges and the square steering wheel on the Stingray and Z06 - do they carry over as well??!!! Porsche 911 Twin Turbo S from the factory has 2 cylinder less and can easily do 0-60 in less than 2.3 sec! This car has two more cylinders and is slower! Regarding competing directly against the 911 Twin Turbo S - the S is AWD and AW Steer! Does the vette have that? I seriously doubt it. But let's see what GM can do as this is the best they can muster at any time since they've been making these cars!

And they need to add lambo doors. From the factory. But make this more of a production model like it used to be and more production like the Z06. We don't need no one year limited edition crap.😊

My Prediction.... all wheel Drive ... All wheel steering...1350HP combined... the electric motor is for performance.... Mounted in front .... carbon Fiber Body and Brakes .... as option... the Brakes Are standard Ceramic Carbon.....

The c8 corvette may have similar performance specs but has nowhere near the quality of materials and assembly. The c8 has horrible rattles and panel gaps.

FORGOT about actually having VOLUME to the sound did you? Just a load of 0.2 to 0.6 secs FLICKERING images. Partly official material or not, so what. Whereby viewers see loads of different 'stills' yet have not the time to process what they have watched before the next continuing deluge of thrown at you instant images. Tarting a presentation in such a way, to 'jazz' it all up. 30secs is all I could stand. Filmography has gone the wrong way, these days all gimmick & effects with little substance. Anyway. The by now established nonsense, about the C8 ZR1 and the ZORA being twin turbo is misinformation. Do not be too shocked when y'all find out they will both have SUPERCHARGERS. Likely to be designed & modified in a collaboration between GM, Magnusson and of cause Eaton. Based upon the latest Eaton TVS X3100 Supercharger. What did Eaton make the bloody thing for?, hardly currently selling in volume is it. Though I very much suspect being produced in numbers, tested, modified, ready to be deployed a little later on. FORDS vastly expensive rich mans play thing 2024 GTD Mustang has a Supercharger, the VFM Ford GT 500 Mustang has one, the previous C7 Z06 and C7 ZR1 had them. BUT all of a sudden GM slap on a turbo to their forthcoming highest performance models. Don't you believe it till you see it. Just as the 617hp figure 'put out there' about the power figures of the C8 Z06 were totally bogus. (Notice the '7' part that was reality in the now quoted 670hp figure). Very much leads to that bogus figure coming from whare do you think?. The plan years ago was secrete misinformation out into the performance car media with a low ball hp figure, (Some obscure Australian car magazine outfit) that many other media outfits, pundits & enthusiasts lap up & adhere to. THEN at actual vehicle reveal time top out that bogus HP figure with a higher one, thus exceeding expectations. All part of a marketing ploy conceived behind closed doors. That of cause is very very hard to pin down & definitively prove. Anyway GM KNEW all along it was not 617hp for the C8 Z06 yet ALLOWED that notion to circulate for months. Just as they have with this 'twin-turbo' misinformation. You see!. Just remember that GM knew all along what notions were out there, yet did not correct it. DECEIVING most of you all then, at the very least by omission. But again most of you will either not realise that or overlook it, forgiving them. Then they carry on deceiving. I believe, this 'twin-turbo' misinformation was put out there years ago, fed to the likes of 'GM Authority', that bogus outfit still claiming on their website they are desperately looking to hire a journo to join their less than a dozen staff as a contributor for $80,000. (Not filled the position yet?, does it even exist?) Trying to bolster their status are they?. They cannot be trusted, I certainly do not. Mainly just mouthpieces for the vehicle industry. That will keep the source of the misinformation secret, so it is not publicly known as to its real origin. If they did it would totally EXPOSE the deception & manipulation. And of cause all the Motor Vehicle manufacturers would NEVER again use such an outfit again. These outfits being officially told some truth and some deception. Does a motor vehicle manufacturer want their COMPETITORS to know exactly what they are developing and will introduce?. Would now & then they not prefer to deceive them, even should that also deceive the motor vehicle enthusiast. Betraying trust placed in them. Think about it. It cannot be justified though, who's side are you on?, $$$ making motor vehicle manufacturers or the car driving community, wanting what is best for fellow consumers and yourselves, or have some manipulated 'conditioned' loyalty to these car outfits. Do their money grubbing dealers have loyalty to YOU or instead the $$$? So HARDEN up then! and you will get better treatment. To the likes of GM Authority and established C8 Corvette YT pundits, I say do PROVE the C8 ZR1 and ZORA are going to be 'twin-turbo's', being made by whom? Likely hiding behind the 2nd party hearsay 'confidential source' garbage, of un-named origin, they will confirm nothing. Chevy manufacturing is a joke. They can't even make the models in production now. I love the Corvette but at the rate GM is going, I rather with for the upcoming Porsche 911 Turbo.
