We really enjoy it. And for sure, I can tell a difference in how I feel after drinking these lattes once or twice a day for several days!

Alot going on in this video. I'm curious about the science behind the 10 minute boil? Right now I can't imagine having the patience to make this every single day for myself. I suppose if I truly felt better, then I would be motivated. I also have a problem in that I can't seem to keep weight on. I struggle to constantly try to stretch and do excercises that would build muscle and give me some tone. I don't have much of an appetite and I have become a tiny, frail thing since RA took me over. I used to be very athletic and the RA has proven to be a serious challenge.

Cathy, you can make it in advance and store it in both the refrigerator and freezer. I haven't tried it yet, but I'm thinking one can mince up a whole blender full of it, store it in something like an ice cube tray for individual servings, and pop one out when you want it. I'm going to try that and I'll let you know how it goes. As far as the ten minute boil, what I understand about that from studying how organic farmers and growers in India prepare theirs, the ten minute boil is enough to extract some essentials but not long enough to damage the curcumin itself before drying and storing. I know that it is very sensitive to heat, especially for nutritive and supplemental purposes. Currently I'm not re-boiling the ground curcumin after the initial ten-minute boil, but drying it in the sun to grind up into powder. It will take a long time to collect enough to do that, so I can't really post about that yet. But the fresh turmeric taken daily has sure made a difference for me. I'm off the ibuprofen entirely now, where I was once taking 1600 mgs of it per day just to function. :-) I've heard about others losing a lot of weight with autoimmune disease and I wish that were my case. For me, I've always been a heavy, muscular person but I was thin enough to ride and compete in combined training (horse shows) once upon a time. I was very fit and could walk for miles. When lupus hit me, several long regimens of prednisone probably saved my life over the course of a few years, but boy did it pack on the weight. That plus the edema from POTS has done a real number on me. I can barely walk to the mailbox these days, but I am determined to get healthier.
