I'm jealous. I live in Devon and there aren't many independent bookshops at all.. Next time I'm in London I hope to dedicate an afternoon to book-hunting!

A friend of mine lived in Crystal Palace so I've passed by The Bookseller Crow many times but I never got a chance to go in. Nice to see some bookshops featured that aren't the usual suspects in central.

Booksellers crow was my local bookshop! It's where we did our midnight Harry Potter buys and I got a call from the Croydon Advertiser and wrote a review of I think the fifth one for them because id been there. My dad lives in Sydenham and I went to secondary school on Penge so I know Kirkdale well as well. So weird seeing my hometown! People on RU-vid don't often seem to come South of the river

It would not be a Claire Fenby video without a Virginia Woolf book appearance. ❤️ I love these videos so much, and you’re so lucky to have independent bookshops nearby. Also, Conjure Women is a great book (saw it in the window of Kirkland). 📚

Is the video lovely? Yes. Did it make me discover that Susanna Clarke FINALLY has a new book, and that apparently it is amazing, and that I need it yesterday? Also yes. (And I can't wait for you to review it, Claire, as I know you share the love for Johnathan Strange & Mr. Norrell.)

I love Booksellers Crow- everyone calls it something different because the name is so long haha. I'd recommend Beckingham Books and if you're near Wimbledon there's loads of great charity shops selling books.

I wish when the Covid 19 is over, I could have a chance to visit UK and my goals is to visit bookshop around and buying one or two books, thank you for your recommendations, def write it on my list
