Which can also be explained by the fact that someone just kicked his door down and shoved a camera in his face. We know nothing about his personality. He could be an introvert / shy - or just doesn’t know how to react while being filmed on camera. He could have also been afraid that his gf would take things the wrong way so the brief awkwardness is him making sure it doesn’t come off wrong. Which hilariously is what ended up happening anyways with everyone micro-analyzing. I think most men can relate to having times where you are overly cautious so to not be taken the wrong way. That doesn’t make you guilty. With how overly sensitive people are today you have to make sure you arent taken out of context or let others make assumptions about you.

when my s/o visited me in college, I jumped up and down and ran to hug him. Hell, 7 years later, when my man comes homes from work I still run to hug him LOL. My first impression is that they must not be that close or their relationship is waning, since he was more embarrassed happy, rather than elated.

Instead he showed cheating behaviours and chose to sneakily grab his phone from the other girl while hunching over to hide it from his girlfriend. If you think that’s just an awkward thing to do then ask your self… if when your fiancé surprised you seeing her for the first time in a year… your FIRST priority was that you needed your phone. That’s weird right? Now imagine you decided you needed to do it in a way she didn’t know the girl sitting uncomfortably close to you had it, and you two had a weird secret hand off right infront of her face. All while she’s been standing there waiting for your greeting. Now you have your phone and wait for her to beckon you to hug her. If you think that’s a typical “unenthusiastic response” then you’re definitely wrong.

Young adults underestimate the significance of personal space in relationships and she probably got so used to seeing him everyday that she really missed him whereas he got comfortable with not seeing her so much. It happens and I've been through it. The reason I don't blame him is because its neither* the boy or girls choice that they saw eachother so much in school and thats one of the reasons why relationships hit a critical point when you get to uni

If you’re saying “fuck” when your gf you haven’t seen in mad long shows up, you don’t give a fuck about her. If I’m with someone and I have plans to “chill”, I would bring them along. Chances are anything he would be doing is with people he sees daily, he hasn’t seen her in months or whatever then it should be priority. I would be thrilled if someone I loved showed up after not seeing them for a while, I’d cancel all plans and spend all my time with them. Everyone else would have to understand, it’s a rare occasion. If you feel that way, you don’t really love the person and should just have broken up with them and not waste their time.
