I hope Bunny's health problems are nothing serious, and she'll get better soon. I don't remember seeing Otter that clear on the buttons before, so yay Otter! It's cool to have that medicine hack for Bunny, I've never heard of it before. It's also interesting that Billi is getting medicine right now too, and her mom is teaching her by emphasizing "first medicine (in a pill pocket) then food" so Billi knows she needs to eat her medication before she gets the food-treat she wants. Both methods are working wonderfully for each fur baby and it just goes to show that knowing your pet well is the key to everything!

That's interesting about moving away to remove social pressure. Cats can be so different. If you move away from my cat in that similar situation, she just gets distracted from the food because she wants to follow me to see what's going on next even if it's a few steps. If the food/treats are super appealing, she might stay and finish. I think my cat really enjoys us eating together, so I guess one thing I can do is have a little snack with her when she's getting a pill pocket med.

Kendra (Billi's Mom) started calling it "catnip water", but then after that Billi--in at least one video--asked her Mom if she wanted "catnip water", because it was part of their morning ritual and Kendra hadn't gotten any that morning. I think Kendra was initially just trying to describe coffee to Billi, but Billi picked up on it and now that's what it is.

With medicine, you could try saying 'Good for bad belly' to her, when u give it to her. She may understand. My dog understood simple things like that. Dogs know what good and bad mean. It is not hard for them to understand that something could be good for something bad.

Does Bunny like her rx food? My puppers ( both seniors with health issues) despise theirs. They have each at one point simply refused to eat it for several days in a row and neither of them can afford to lose an ounce at this point... I'm rather at my wit's end.

I love watching these videos and I wish I'd seen them when my dog was younger. Thank you for the meds hack, it's genius and very useful. My dog takes loads of meds per day, and he has allergies so this will be great if we have to do an exclusion diet again!x

Our puppers had digestive issues and had to have the tube of yuck! We finally found the right vet and prescription diet that he would actually eat. It was a drawn out process though.

This is awesome. Question. Have the dogs ever used the bottoms to talk to each other? I just ordered the start kit for my puppy that is only 12 days old still with the breeder!! I’m very excited

Bunny and Otter have talked to each other a couple times. Also, Billi the cat's very latest video is one where she's talking to her Mom's sister's cat (they're staying with Billi's aunt for a bit), though the other cat isn't button trained, so isn't getting it. But Billi is trying.

I did see a video where Otter got upset because Bunny wouldn’t go upstairs when he wanted him to. She was blocking the stairs. He said hr was mad. He lay down mad. She finally got up and went upstairs and he happily followed. But I haven’t gotten to conversations yet. Any links? BTW, I got the basic kit for my 8 yr old Lab Austin. He pick up the “outside”button in 2 days. My 17 yr old chihuahua I inherited from my mom looks at it like it’s from Mars. 😂

I'm so saddened to hear about Bunny's anxiety! I hope it's not because of these buttons? Does it stress her? Making sure she presses the right ones? OmG I hope not! I'd hate to think us humans did yet another thing to harm these gorgeous creatures! Not blaming owner in any way shape or form I'm just worried because I was planning to get these too but maybe I'll stick to a smaller version? God bless you Bunny for paving the way teaching US!! 🙏❤️✨

Bunny presses buttons willingly. I doubt she'd use them at all if they stressed her.

For the various animals I've seen with the buttons, they tend to be a stress _reliever_ , because the animal can express themselves to their humans and it takes away the frustration of trying to get a human to understand something and getting nowhere with it. Also, FluentPet makes a "test kit" that's just a few buttons that you can get and try out with your pet, to see if they'll be interested in them without you having to spend a lot of money on a huge set until you know for sure it'll work well with them.
