Stellantis will count the EVs as sold when they ship them to the dealers. Since dealers have none now, all dealers will be taking some. So, initially, Stellantis will consider the rollout a success because they will have shipped the new Chargers to dealers and to Stellantis that is a sale. The dealers will be the ones that pay the price as those cars sit on lots not selling for many months or years.

I work for a company than makes the center console for the new Charger and we haven't started production yet so i think it will be months before these hit the dealership lots.

Here’s a few solutions to fixing this problem: 1) A new parent company to buy Dodge 2) Drop the prices down, affordable $$ 3) Grow the vehicle lineup (5+ lineup) By doing this, Dodge will have a variety of vehicles of all power trains. Now they can make a new, improved V8. If something slows down, they have other vehicles that can keep them afloat. That’s just my guess, I could be wrong.

I love that truck too, I'm a Ford guy, but since ford has so many recalls and the prices are too high, I'm moving over to Dodge, as I do use as a daily my 2020 Dodge Grand Caravan with the 3.6 VVT Pentastar. I have not had any issues with my Dodge Grand Caravan with 117,000 Miles on it. Monthly maintenance on this vehicle Transmission Fluid Change every 50,000 Miles, and Oil change every 5,500 Miles and much more there has not been any issues. Only changed the Thermostat due to it stopped working with engine light, but once I changed it myself the Engine light went off after the first 30 miles. I do not like the Dodge Hornet; I believe that it is not a real dodge.

I was on a road trip with my new SRT 300C driving through the dreaded state of Commiefornya this past week(had to get my wife's dad interred in Paradise, CA with her mom)and, stopping at Harris Ranch off of I-5, couldn't help but notice 3, yes, 3 Tesla drivers that got off there to recharge their overgrown slot cars in the big charging station there. We got out of breakfast almost an hour later and all 3 of those same POS EV's were STILL sitting in there recharging(plus an almost full station of them). What part of absolute inefficiency don't people understand??? Jeezus H. Christ. I can top off my '23 Chrysler 300 hemi car in about 4 or 5 minutes with fuel at whatever obnoxious price they charge in Commieland there, and the EV's are still sitting there recharging. Had to laugh when I saw that. The stupid just burns with these brainwashed idiots who got sold a bill of goods. EV's have a place in, say, a city environment, where they would be used for short distances, this is where they might do better instead of politicians trying to shove them up our collective asses as a one-size-fits-all replacement for ICE vehicles. I have to have a car that I take to the gas station, you can get some really tasty food there nowadays. Once in a while, I pick up some lottery tickets & my huge fountain drink, so sitting around at the electric charging stations is terrible!

Dodge just needs to follow the Ford lead and build a 400 horsepower V8 and let a company like Whipple or ProCharger or somebody like that do all the stuff they need to do it and and have them put together at a Dodge dealership and give them a warranty and no carbon points and you're set

I don't know anyone who can afford $50,000+ for any car or truck. I don't know anyone that said "I can't wait to buy a 6-banger or an electric car". But hey, I guess there are people out there like that. I've never met any.

The key was investment to get fuel economy up and emissions down across the board while adding cheap EVs that will sell in large numbers to create enough carbon credits to allow them to keep building high performance engines, probably in smaller numbers. Chryslers bread and butter engine, the 3.6 Pentastar V6 hasn’t been significantly updated ever, but it was designed with direct-injection, single and twin-turbo capabilities. The Hemi’s never got direct-injection either, and kept their heavy iron blocks, when GM and Ford V8’s are all aluminum.

Puerto Ricans love those Corollas -that’s their corvette and somehow they make those cars move and that’s ok. I have 8 Puerto Ricans Ricans work for me-the reason they take off so fast from lights isn’t because they want to race it’s because in Puerto Rico in bad areas out of the tourists areas you can get shot at if you don’t moved fast enough when light turns green. I pretty much agree with everything-we think the same. I won’t buy a 6 cylinder tho but you have a channel. I think they’ll pop off some 6 cylinder Daytonas as a surprise-they know already how they will not be selling anything but some Trucks. We know and they know. But it has to be a V8-i can’t stand V6 and it’s not only about the sound but also just the feel -there’s bass to it-we are frequency creatures and the bass that comes thru the car to you is magical. I thought it was the torque too but the fast cyber truck and plaid are so boring and there’s no bass. I can’t believe they did not give us AWD V8s before they did this-and AWD you can shut off front wheels when needed. Imagine be an,e to drive these in rain. You don’t have that issue but us Floridians do-it can dump 3-4 inches in 40 minute shower here and that’s when all the Toya toys and Beemers Audis and Chevy 4 cylinders take their chance to fly past you and laugh because i can’t go very 35 in a down pour. That reminds me-Tire companies come on already with high speed tires that can grip in dry and wet a;ready and high speed rated truck tires-even the cyber truck needs them-you tire companies need to get way caught up with technology. Anyway good video Brad and i agree with 99% of this but there’s a plan B they have because they can’t have people drift to far away or they will lose them -like more than 50% of them and it will take more then decade to get them back.
