Could Ernesto turn LEFT after passing Bermuda? 

We are getting rain and some flooding in Barbados

Northeastern USA is way overdue for its next hurricane hit with the last one back in 1991 or 33 years ago. We're going into a La Nina this year which is the most favorable for the Northeast to see a hurricane landfall, and therefore I wouldn't be shocked if Ernesto or any other storm hit the region as a hurricane. That being said, there have been quite of bit of close calls over the last few recent years and the decades long standing run without a hurricane hitting the Northeast is still alive today. Though, I've had a feeling with expectations for this year to be a historically active that a hurricane might actually put an end to the streak without a hurricane in the Northeast, and now it looks as if that could be the case with Ernesto finally the storm to do so. Not a guarantee yet, but the possibility is very interesting though. So, we here should certainly be watching this. Yes, I'm from Pennsylvania and is in the region watching it closely as well.

If it was fall i would take the sandy thing more serious… not that it still cant shift west and come that way but just saying the overall storm… i know u weren’t saying that tho, u just meant the path it took… i feel like the northeast and definitely New York is due for another hurricane tho
