Thank you for sharing this with us! Susan is so interesting and fun. I wonder if anyone has ever been cross with her for bringing couture to the masses? I would hope not. I have learned so much from her books and threads deep dives into techniques. I learned to sew with always basting and various other techniques. They may take a little more (or a lot😉) but always worth it. I unpick less, second guess less and have more beautiful, wearable art thanks to all of you. Happy new year to all of you! I attended one of Susan's classes in Sydney, Australia just prior to COVID. I learned so much from her. Most of all, I loved the camaraderie in the class. We were women of varied backgrounds yet we all had a lovely time together. Susan is just a joy to be around. I hope she comes back to AUS again.
I have a Edith Head Advance pattern 9291 with the cutest jacket...Not in my size I have to "Attempt" to enlarge it for me only 1" so maybe I am inspired by you all!
