My wife was 9 month pregnant when she got it. She was in the hospital in ICU for 8 days… i had to spend 8 days with my two year old while waiting for my wife to call or text me back at all hours of the day. I was just there hoping I would get a call or text… glad you guys are doing better now.

you got a problem with freedom of choice? Also stop calling an experimental drug a vaccine, vaccines contain dead or dying bits of the virus so your body can see the virus and react to it to create immunity, not use some synthetic crap to try to trick your body into blocking the spike protein but not develop anti-bodies to kill the virus like a real vaccine does.
@@xRadicalLeftx False, regardless of FDA approval it's still not a vaccine, FDA approval doesn't make something a vaccine, also you might wanna read what the FDA actually did, the Approved the Pfizer Commernity, not J&J, not Pfizer Biontech (which is the Pfizer everyone has been jabbed with), those just got their EUA extended, an EUA extension is not approval.
@@DanielRichards644 You are the only one saying anything about freedom of choice. I'd think if a guy wanted to continue with some normalcy getting vaccinated would be a priority. Seemed pretty simple to me.
@@ShainAndrews the plan they sold us was "2 weeks to flatten the curve" to prevent hospitals from getting overwhelmed, NOT to stay in perpetual lockdown until the jab has been forced onto everyone. Getting the Jab to get thing to "return to normal" is not freedom of choice, it's the definition of coercion, REQUIRING something to be done to get back to normal is NOT A CHOICE, it's a violation of your basic HUMAN RIGHTS. Freedom of choice would be like when my SISTER who has an auto-immune disease talked to her doctor and the DOCTOR given her medical history advised against taking the vaccine because she would run the risk of being put into a months long state of anaphylactic shock (which has happened to her before), her doctor said "Why would you want to attack your immune system?" so given the risk/benefit assessment for her she made the choice to NOT take the "vaccine" and just return to normal life. Other people are free to do their own risk assessment of risk of vax side effects vs risk of covid infection and then make their own choice, but the second you introduce "getting back to normal", THATS NO CHOICE, THATS A HUMAN RIGHT BEING VIOLATED.
Brother, we had it last year. The worst I’ve ever been, lost a week of my life. Took a month to get back to 95%. Make sure you listen to your body and rest when you can. (Yeah like that will really happen) but glad to hear you’re feeling better!
Even to this day I have some effects from Covid. still. Like this general Brain Fogginess at times. It is a common thing after serious cases of covid which is interesting. But I am with you there when you say you lost a week of your life. I was bedridden for almost the whole week because I felt like death. It was terrible and I am only 22.
Feel you on the brain fog. The first couple weeks out of the hospital I felt disassociated from my body, like I didn't know who I was. I still drop words in the middle of conversation, like it will just slip an I can recall how to form the word. I know what I want to say but it's just not there. It's fustrating.
Friend spent nearly two weeks in the ICU and came within minutes of getting intubated, had she not expressed hunger and some anger at not being fed she'd have had a tube - they were keeping her off food so she wouldn't aspirate when they stuck it in her throat. Her spark and spirit got her through that but it was a long haul and now two months later still carries an oxygen bottle. Even she didn't have the worst of it and appears to have "just" lung damage. It's maddening to see so many people act like this is no big deal....
Had it at the end of February. Spent 5 days in the hospital. Couldn't keep food down. I'd take a bite of crackers an throw up, take a sip of water an throw up. Took me about 2 months just to be able to walk from one end of my house to the other without getting winded. ☹️

I know you think you’re doing something righteous but you try to obfuscate the truth with your emotional cry baby nonsense. It’s all a show. Even you couldn’t help but try to and be “better” than me and nice and understanding. Weakness
You both are fortunate. Many are not as lucky. I hope either of you don't end up with 'long COVID', or long term cardiac/respiratory issues. The more this virus spreads, the higher probability for mutations, that could lead to this virus being more lethal. Do understand an individuals actions may impact many. Stay healthy, hope you guys both make a full recovery.
First, I'm glad that Cleeter and Madi are recovering. This community would miss you immensely. Continue to recover and stay safe, whatever choices you make. @@JamesEsau, sorry for the novel.......I'm not a biologist, geneticist, or epidemiologist. With that said keep Darwin's theory of evolution in mind on this subject. It's not that they mutate and there is a 50/50 that it gets weaker or stronger. In a majority of cases organisms pass on the most beneficial traits to the offspring. However in some cases the beneficial traits can also be a negative. Say in the case of the hummingbird....their high metabolism allows them to beat their wings as fast as they do, but the down side is that because of said metabolism, they now have to consume an egregious amount of nectar to maintain themselves (its a positive feedback loop of sorts). Eventually, it could lead to the hummingbirds downfall, especially if there is a shortage of food. However, another genetic mutation that could allow its body to more efficiently process the sugar and thereby allowing the bird to consume less to maintain themselves. Viruses are really no different, except in the way the virus reproduces. In the case of the Delta variant it has a genetic mutation that increases it's infectivity. Fortunately, it has not become more lethal thus far. but the potential is definitely there. Right now whether you listen to the talking heads, the CDC, your own doctor, Coast to Coast AM, etc, the best thing that can happen right now is for folks to get vaccinated. This will limit the viruses ability to reproduce, which will slow the spread, and thereby reduce the odds of a far more deadly strain from emerging. While yes, there are/will be breakthrough cases, the vaccine will have given your immune system the tools it needs to recognize the genetic signature for that virus, causing the body to create antibodies that will hunt down and destroy it with extreme prejudice. This should keep you out of the hospital, shorten the window that you are able to pass it on to others, ultimately help each other stay safe. I'm all about Freedom and choice, but keep in mind that this choice can have long lasting and far reaching consequences on yourself and others. And lets hope/pray that the next mutation makes the window in which the virus can infect so narrow, that it dies before it has the ability to mutate again. Stay safe man. 🙏😀
I had it back in October, it was 3 solid weeks before I thought I could go back to work and work a full day. The respiratory symptoms only lasted a couple days for me and weren't bad, but the fatigue was the worst. You get up, go make a sandwich, then need to take a nap before you can eat it. LOTS of water, vitamin C, Zinc, and stay away from NSAID pain relievers.
Most important is Vitamin D. You need at least 50 ng/ml blood level for a healthy immune and inflammatory response. Most adults are severely deficient (although Cleeter probably had good Vit D because he lives in Florida and he gets a lot of sun on his skin). Take at least 4000 iu/day. Zinc is important for your immune system, but it can't enter your cells without a zinc ionophore (a key to unlock the door on the cell membrane). Quercetin is a natural compound found in fruits, and it's a zinc ionophore. Studies have shown that it is helpful. Vit C is great also, but trace minerals like selenium, magnesium and potassium are important for immune health. Niacin (nicotinic acid) helps. NAC + Glycine (a.k.a. GlyNAC) can help. Melatonin at night (helps you sleep but it is also a powerful anti-inflammatory). See the covid19criticalcare for the FLCCC Alliance's prevention and treatment protocols.
Had the same experience. Covid rocked the shit out of me and my girlfriend. We were down for a full 14 days. And 3 of them were unbelievably dreadful. Glad you guys were able to pull through it
