@@MagicXike or maybe that colby doesnt draw as much as masvidal? Also colbys last win is against washed woodley, that shouldn't give you a title shot lol
@@niharshastri3519 that is true he does draw more and that’s the sole reason why kamaru picked him again. But just cause you have a bigger name doesn’t mean you should get another title shot when you already lost to the champ 50-44 lol. Everybody predicted what was gonna happen in that fight before it even started bro
@@Onlybadtakes2589 umm nah i dont think he's doing it to sound cringe,,it just the delivery that comes cringe because he cant deliver it properly and his lines sound unnatural
Colby has an extremely underrated chin, he took big shots from RDA, and right hands from Usman for 5 rounds and 2 of those rounds he had a broken jaw, and when he did get dropped he still tried to keep fighting....
@@vidanmai166 idk man it was that straight right he throws he just didn’t ko colby (even tho he stopped him in the 5th) cause he wasn’t dancing an showboating like Jorge
@@lethweiblackbelt no, because if you look at the punch that KOed Masvidal you would see a lot more leverage and power. Usman put his entire body into that punch. He even lost balance and fell on him if you look closer. No doubt the same punch would KO Covington. They both have superb chins but Usman is a monster
@@vidanmai166 well ya he knew he could land it on masvidal because of the showboating and how he would leave his left hand down after some exchanges but yea anyone can get cracked even with top level chins
Man there ain’t no real hate between them Colby is just in character to make money and everyone close to him knows that but fans believe he is like that in his personal life
The beef is probably fake. I thought when i first found out they were friends that they'd have a fake falling out to leverage a huge money fight. Even Joe Rogan said he thoutht the beef was abit fake.
“There’s a reason your a the little kids table.... scrub” this dude gives me a genuine chuckle, gotta respect how unintentionally funny he can be sometimes 😂😂😂
@@kylobenshorts It's crazy how blind people are to his talent because of his act. I think Colby is a phenomenal right handed southpaw. Could easily be a dominate champ.
@@RyderGroveSt He has taken shots from some of the hardest hitters in the division and not been knocked out. He def has a chin and if you say otherwise, you're brain dead.
@@matthewfischer4510 Colby glazer has been found. His resume is absolutely garbage he’s only got two wins in the last 8 years who weren’t bums or washed up has beens on losing streaks! He avoids every contender and only fights unless it’s a title fight cos he’s white American who has a big mouth. Definition of the great white hope
@@richiegomez6366 yeah and this loss was even worse than the first performance. He got neutered by his new camp and he was waaay too cautious. Maybe the Masvidal and Burns KOs scared him.
@@obitriceforlife5771 colby is not a real welterweight either. He cuts much less weight than most ww and walks around at like 185 just like RDA. Even porier is heavier and walks at 190. Just stfu when you have no clue
What a huge achievement for RDA. Champ at LW then gets to rank 1 at WW and fights for the IC. I would’ve loved for him to win. But we wouldn’t have gotten Usman v Covington
Yeah he actually in a bad situation as a fighter. He’s too small for welterweight and it’s hard for him to cut weight at lightweight. His veteran savvy is the only thing that’s been keeping him afloat.
all these best moments videos really does capture the entire hype train to the event and even the post fight presses. 10/10 great work bringing old fights back to life for people who weren't there.
@@tf3217 Colby's 4 best wins were against fighters 36 years or older and on losing streaks. He hasn't fought anyone relevant to the title chase since RDA, a LW, yet gets an almost instant rematch despite being embarrassed so hard last time he ran out of the arena literally crying.
@@TehRoshi whooped? You and I has a different understanding towards the word "whoop" Colby gave Usman his hardest fight til this day when no one can give Usman a very hard work. Many people believe Colby was winning the fight before the stoppage including myself. Its just ridiculous to say that Usman whooped him.
@Andrew Hager but all joked aside, your right. Covington knows how to fight, and is the one guy that can really challenge Usman. Yes he lost both fights to Usman, but both fights were great and close.
He had some great fights i looked back at some of his earlier ufc fights n he was undefeated in ufc before usman loss im not sure....he actually shows up for all that talk n i love it becos its good for UFC and MMA as a whole...
Man i'm gonna miss him when he retires he talks the talk he walks the walk he has definitely made his fights interesting to watch i'll watch every fight of his like a nerd and virgin.
I cant wait for his rematch against Usman. I hope they take it to the ground and find out whos the better wrestler. Kamaru is still the champ and is becoming one of the most dominant ones at that. Definitely improved immensely since their first bout. This is gonna be wild.
This shows how good Khabib was he ragdolled Prime RDA and also shows how great RDA is eventhough he was out of his Prime when he fought Colby still gave Colby one of the toughest fight.
The thing is, he didn't ragdoll him at all. He controlled him beautifully in round 3 but round 1 could have easily gone to RDA (depends on if you give RDA 2/5 or 3/5 takedowns stuffed, it's a very close takedown/stuff) and RDA was doing very well on the feet and at no point was in danger. Impressive win of Khabib against soon to be prime RDA but not a domination like people make out.
@@tylerrobbins8311 dont let recency bias make you forget what twood could do in his prime. if RDA started to pressure him Tyron could take him down anytime he wanted. and I dont think RDA could take a punch from him.
@@sulbul64 RDA took down colby and only ever get rag dolled by Khabib and Usman I doubt Woodley would be able to, especially if he is pressured with strikes.
Love Colby he’s fucking entertaining & a true warrior dude has a solid chin has that nick diaz “in your face” cardio & really is well rounded. Makes it even better how majority of the viewers hate Colby & then all shut up when he wins🏆
I actually thought Colby was going to win this fight. I just figured his size, pace and pressure would get it done. 80 percent of fans and fighters thought rda was going to smash him. I was very surprised when Darren till actually picked Colby to win for the same reasons I said. Don't get me wrong iv gotten many picks wrong before. But honestly when it comes to mma..if your 50/50 at picking high profile fights that's not terrible at all. 60/40 is pretty dam good.
Megan O’s story of how she made it in the world of MMA is interesting, she credits Ronda, Conor and Dana for alot of her success. Honestly I think they liked how easy her interviews were for good reason.
