Enjoyed watching the video. Funny to see there is always the same one cowboy who wins the show. Obviously, evident by how muddy and dirty he gets, he always seems to put his heart and soul into doing what he loves best, “cowboying.” He is never afraid to get his hands dirty, therefore in my book, he is your “red head MVP.” Sincerely loved everyone enjoying the day and working hard to accomplish the day’s mission. GREAT JOB TO MOM & DAD for raising a hardworking Family.
I enjoy the interaction with the kids, especially the younger ones. They don’t know everything like teenagers morf into. The innocence of some kids playing in a little pool of water is a good thing.
Great job everyone. It’s great watching y’all working together and getting the job done. It was great to have Roxie with your crew. My daddy’s family was 9. 8 boys 1 girl and she could hold her own with those boys. God bless you and your family and thank you for sharing your beautiful family with us. 🙋🏻♀️♥️🇺🇸
I agree with Edwin, Ridge is quite the character. Cool shades he had one at the beginning, hahahaha! Wonderful job y'all did. Wish I coulda been with you riding ole Banjo Eyes one more time.
It is such a Beautiful thing to watch, a family working together for a common goal!!!!! What a great example. And in such an extreme environment. Massive kudo's to you and your entire extended family.❣❣❣
Can’t wait to see y’all in Wickenburg. Let me know when you’re coming. I’ll have a 5th wheel ready for you for FREE. It has a cal king. Fold out double and 2 recliners someone could try to sleep in. The fridge will be stocked!
Really enjoyed watching the family work together. You are so watchful of your kids while you work. Great job getting those cows back. Glad to see you on video Roxy.
The crew did good to get that many to the pens with all the brush they had to ride through! Ridge is something else! I would like to follow him around one day to se what all he does ahd the stories he could tell you!
Great video! Rough country, good crew of cowhands and cow horses. Takes a hand to keep the mommas and babies together and not lose any in the heavy brush. Love the little cowboys taking a "water" break at the end while the big cowhands get the sorting done. Thank you so much for sharing!
Does my heart good to see all the running water! What a great day out with family working cows through the brush. I love your channel and enjoy seeing your family so capable and willing to help. Long day in the saddle, butt sore for sure. Sending you all our fondest regards from Canada.
Hi happy you’re what’s beautiful families love video ridge awesome little kid get into everything lots of blessings are coming your way and always be safe 🇺🇸🇺🇸
I just love Reggi he is sooooo CUTE especially with that Fire Engine Red hair. You are going to have to keep your eyes on him he's going to be a Handful beng awnry pulling triks and teas every one in on sight
That was a lot of hard work today! Would have been fun to do the mud slide with Ridgie, that boy is so stinkin' cute. Was it Reiler that Ridge was riding with? It was sweet how he would put his hands on Ridgie's when they were moving, protective big brother. Good kids all around. Parents are pretty awesome too!
You need four or five Welsh Mountain or Dartmoor ponies, little tough UK native ponies, tough as old boots, kids on them would soon barge through that growth!
you guys are one of the hardest working family s .all I can say is God bless you and your whole family.. lol I got tired just watching .what a work out.i wish I was there to cook for you all..
Bird looked like a Cardinal. Nice day rounding up cattle and playing in the mud. Looks like a nice ride, I miss riding, last time I rode was on a work horse because I am double the size for most horses. He did not like me riding him. Learned from digging archeology that the Roman soldiers rode ponies in Britain. Surprising so did the Vikings ride pony sized horses, Icelandic horses are pony size and the Vikings took them there. Nice job videoing and editing. Stay safe and healthy.
@@robertmoore1123 Average height for men is currently 5 foot 6 inches. and many of the skeletons from the Roman digs in the UK are that tall or taller and buried with a pony. Watch some Time Team or read about the digs. Many of the Roman burials that included a pony are a taller than normal soldier.
Questions......are you and your brothers on your land? How do you keep track of the cattle as it doesn’t seem like you have perimeter fences. I would have loved to be on that round up. Awesome you had so much help. What memories you’re making with all those darlins. Sissy is such a chip off the mommy block. Two beauties! Nana Susie
Absolutely fantastic! That sure looks like a lot of fun but I know it’s hard work. Today was my last working day at a Texas prison system, driving a prison bus. I am now retired with 20 years of service for the Texas prison system. Keep up the great work, wonderful family, blessings from Texas.
Good stuff as always! Boy that was some thick stuff to work. Love seeing all the cousins together helping. That water break was well deserved... kids need to be kids too. Might have to start calling Ridgie-bug Mud-bug. Bet they slept well after day one. Can't wait to see what's next.
great video, Like the way you tell the story, The families gathering cattle, explained to folks how a dum ole cow will give you the slip(remember those kind, lol). Kids i@ watering hole, classic. Gives this old guy a smile.
I really enjoy watching even the stuff you probably see as routine. It's interesting. It's almost like we're there. I really appreciate these types of long videos. I could've watched another hour of it. The sorting process is really interesting. It's really interesting how the calves know who their mother is out of all those cows. Thanks for posting another video. Great content.
That's really cool knowing you do have beaver in a desert. I love beaver. I hope yall let them thrive for ever there. I trap about 60-80 beaver in the winter in a 90 trapping season. 3 years ago a beaver came onto my property. Made my creek 2 inches deep and would dry up every summer to 5ft deep and hasn't dried up 1 time in 3 years. My neighbors don't like him. He's been keeping the water 2 ft deep and 4ft wide on their property. They've dumped a dead calf in the creek trying to scare him off. 4 hole carcasses (Everything where they dumped 100% goes into my property) not 1% goes back onto their property Well I heard a gun shot. I thought someone's shooting at my turkey. I gone in the opposite direction (I'm in a bottom that echos weird. ) Didn't catch nobody or see anybody. Next day I find my beaver dead. Next day I drive to my neighbors. These 3 brothers are in their 60's I'm 23. I walked in there "who shot off the road" one of the idiots said "I did" I said "why are you dumping too?" After I heard their excuses I said "well my camera will argue" I've had a camera there for 6 months sense dead animals have been showing up. Lmao. Next day 7:40 a.m. I met with the game warden. By 8:40 the high way patrol was with the game warden and the highway patrol gave them a 5,000 dumping ticket. While the game warden took 3 guns, all 3 hunting licenses, and gave a 1,000 ticket for shooting off the road onto my property. I kill more beaver. But only when they are an issue or over populated. I kill by drowning too. In 10 years of trapping beaver. I've never broke 1 law I never left a beaver to rot in the water I've never dump and I'll never dump a dead animal that's 200 pounds in water. I'm only 23. I'm glad to know I know better vs a couple 60 year old men. The dumping is what made this all happen honestly.
What a great crew❣️❣️Ranch kids are fearless and dive thru those bushes just fine. Ridgey would hang on no matter what and Rance kept patting his little arm. Ol’Grey just stepped over that stinky dead calf great. Roxie and all those girl cousins are great hands along with all those boys!! Some great memories made and cow work done. Y’all have a herd of great horses as well. Finally got to watch this as it started raining when I went out to saddle up a client’s horse, thunder and the whole nine yards. Almost 1/2”this morning. Take care and thanks for sharing. Love your vlogs💕💕
I know it’s hard videoing while riding through brush and herding cattle and keeping track of all the helpers but appreciate all you put into it loved the longer videos looking forward to the next one.👍
My husband had a horse when he was a kid that would lay & roll in the dirt water tank. Whenever the horse got close to it whoever was on it had to bale off in a hurry before the horse rolled.
Fantastic crew. Such great memories for every one all ages. Great batch of horses for all ages also. That is such great clean fun. For those kids. I used to ride night and day I loved it so. Very awesome thank you all for taking us with you. I had a girl friend. We would get to go riding at each other's houses. One winter rode over tops of fence rows snow was so deep in danville ind
i love watching uou all, fantastic family///we had cattle and there was 8 of us and we really enjpyed helping our dad on round ups MAKING GREAT MEMORIES
Awesome job! Wonderful to watch how the whole family shares in the cattle drive. Thank you so much for sharing your videos. I have learned so much from you. I am the oldest of 8 children and wish I was guided by my parents like you guide and teach your children!! Be safe and stay healthy! Enjoy everyone!
Hey, good buddy, where have you been? Upload a 15 second 'er to let us know that everybody's doing fine. I like your family videos a lot. Take care and God-bless!
Willow trees and cotton woods beaver love almost the most. I forget there favorite tree but I wish I had it on my property. Pretty cool seeing your beaver
Yes, your dotter is beautiful and I know you are all kinds of proud of her and the rest of your crew! Beautiful topography in this one. You guys should get to know Carson Sleep and his channel ...
A family that not only plays together but works together is a tight knit family. Keep up the awesome work and wish I had a few extra horses I could donate to your family cause. Realize you most likely were already gone from here but had to goto Primm so passed by Beaver Damm area yesterday and the wee early hours today. Thanks for the videos
Ponies come from very hardy stock(as you know) and can carry quite a bit of weight. Not much difference than tall riders that ride the cutting horses.:) Now you could the opposite way. My daughter was only about 5.4 as a teen and rode and showed 16+h Friesians. Cool round up. Something I always wanted to do!
@@debbys-abqnm4537 We're out of horses now. My daughter who is 35 won her Friesian Nationals in 2 events when she was 17. She was quite a rider! My 32+ quarter horses passed away about 5-6 years ago. Too expensive to keep a horse where I live and I am almost 70. I sure do miss the horses!
@@cathycrowder2226 -- maybe you could find a position (paid or volunteer) where you can use your knowledge and experience -- but not have to spend the $$. You can't (easily) muck out stalls, but you can advise on gardening perhaps, and offer love and understanding to horses of all ages (and any other animals hanging around). Also, you would help humans as they learn what you know 😊
@@debbys-abqnm4537I I garden now. This year I started tomatoes from seed and gave them away to my neighbors and surrounding neighborhood gardeners. I gave away more than 100 plants. I'm still very active and I share my gardening insights etc to all who want to listen. As for the horse.. I live in the suburbs and there are only 2 stables left now. One I would not board at. The other I did and there were great trails to ride. My horse never liked the stable. She fret all the time on the trails. When I first got Gracie I was not working and driving to her was no problem( sometimes over an hour drive), She was boarded at several other places thru the years and we trail rode all over and no problem. But, I had to go to work full time to be able to afford keeping her so I could attend to her needs as she was in her 30's. Other stables are 45 min - 1 hour or more away and just as expensive( over $500 per month for basic board years ago.). Supplements and pellets, trims and vet care were extra. Pellets because she lost her molars(due to age) which we soaked when she could no longer eat hay. Her last 10 years was very expensive but she was worth every penny. However working so many hours to pay for it all gave me very little energy and time to actually ride. Lastly, animals are easy to train-humans not so much. I was fortunate to work with an awesome trainer that taught me many things but it was hard work. Training the horses were easy but trying to get their owners to reinforce or support the training was a nightmare. Most horse owners think their horse is different and they know best- until problems arise. I will leave it there.
@cathy crowder -- I'm glad you got to experience and know Gracie. That's a popular name. See: ru-vid.comvideos where the fellow helps many horses, including a Gracie (an Arabian with a troubled past). Also, "The Farm on Route 66" (in Arizona), which rescues, helps and finds homes for a lot of horses, and their neighbor, "High Desert Homestead", which also trains horses and donkeys: ru-vid.comvideos More to watch!
