Hey tell Steve your not crazy making videos, because there are people like me that can't wait till new ones are posted! I know it takes alot of extra work, especially on days when things aren't going well, but I appreciate it. Thanks, and I pray it rains soon.

Put Riley in the cab of the road grader for a couple hours with an experienced operator, HE will know about 75% of what he needs to know! The rest is all "on the job training", "trial & error"!

This, cowboy Mr. Riley, can do anything, which he wishes to do. He is far beyond great!!!! I love him dearly. Would it not be great, provided all young men, were of his character, and possessed his work skills. I wish he could come, and work for me. He and I, would experience far too much fun.

The usual problems with those Pony motors is the points in the mag never get serviced so you have no spark & the carb get's clogged up because they get shut off with the fuel still flowing. The right way to shut it down is turn the fuel off & let it run until it stops. I carved out my property here in Idaho with an old mechanical Cat 12 that everybody else had given up for dead. I found it on the side of a mountain where it had been for 28yrs. I chocked a wheel, jacked up the blade & with no brakes & no power steering, pulled the chock with a rope & clutched it down through the scrub & trees until it made smoke. The trick was a garden hose down the air cleaner & into the cab for the either. For $500 bucks I was prepared to bail out if I had to! You don't have the market cornered on sketchy shit Mate!

I laughed so hard when you took the grader off. At first my butthole was eating the seat cushion probably like yours did but when it pushed the trailer back and bottomed out then you took off in the truck to pull the trailer from under it I almost fell out my seat laughing so hard! I enjoy watching your videos, keep them coming. I think one of your strongest talents is how you work around things that don't go smoothly, without a lot of fussing and fuming. You show us how a real successful cattle ranch operates. The boys and girl and your wife are a big part of your successes. You must do lots of things right with people also as you always seem to have friends who come and help when you need them. What a joy it is to see you and your family all working together in harmony.

You have a 1945 Cat No.12 Diesel 9K9356, with a D4600 engine. I have a 9K with serial number 9K9320. I loved the history of your father's endeavors with the No.12's, ACMOC (Antique Caterpillar Machinery Owners Club) has a lot of information on their site and the people on the form are unbelievable when it comes to Cat. Those guys at ACMOC would love to hear your story..You don't have to be a member but it helps and if you're going to work on that puppy they will save you lots of money and time. The No.12 Motor Grader is Cats longest running model starting in 1937 with a new series coming out for 2023.

The old graders with pony motors can be pulled with the compression off until you have oil pressure, then turn on compression and they should fire. The pony motor needs a clean carburetor and it will work with care.

Those boys are good hands. They are going to grow up to be some good men. As for selling the cattle or keeping them. Man that is a tough one. I would probably sell, you will probably keep them. I believe i might hold the land speed record going backwards on a grader! I was almost at the top of a paved road on a mountain in Ark. I seen a Samsquatch, iit kicked out of gear, no brakes, did not want to destroy a million dollars worh of asphalt by dropping the blade and was going way to fast in what seemed like an instant to bail off Try that with a bodacious hangover.

What a wild ride that was! I can't believe what you went through to get that old grader going and then going again... I was cringing the whole time you were off-loading that grader. You said it was bad but I was seeing it go a while different way. In my vision I saw that blade slashing all your tires but, no... you went full almost roll that thing off sideways! Can't wait to see what's next. Now I gotta go get one of those hats.

First Time today watching YOUR Channel. Expensive Breeding Machines video you were picking up the 5 Bulls. You mentioned the cattle were being brought in 7 or 8 miles to the feed lot / house area. THEN I realized it was your sons!!! AMAZING Kudos to you and your wife, raising kids and teaching them many valuable life lessens on the ranch. The "mini roper" was on his way to help you all out, one day he will be a Professional Roper. WELL he has his brothers and sister to try and rope so he will get plenty of chances and training too. They Scammed ME video was hilarious the two cookie monsters got Dad ALL figured out. Your daughter was working on the horses front hooves; she was doing very well. Then Dad stepped in to help. KUDOS to Dad and Momma on teaching many many life lessons to your kids. The "School Bus Truck" takes the kids to school; however!!! no text book is going to ever teach the kids like Mom & Dad & the Ranch challenges the Kids on a daily basis. KUDOS to Anchor brand Ranch from Florida... God Speed to you and your family!!!

Yes stay out of the way of the split ring rims. Heard terrible stories of people getting there face and front of their head taken off by them things when changing the tires. I've changed tires on them some and have always hooked a chain around the tire and rim in three spots so if it came apart it wouldn't go to far or mess me up. I'd love to see ya get that dozer and grader fixed up so you could start them with the pony motors and put them to work. Really wish I was closer to help with the dirt moving. Good job with the grader unloading. I laughed like hell!

For motors it is always best to use soft water like rain water or pre mixed coolant otherwise corrosion and electrolysis is a major problem down the track a big expense. It would be good to pu t se tanks o house and on hayshed to cover this .

I'm surprised you didn't have the fill plug wire brushed off before you removed it. Maybe you wouldn't have eaten some. LoL. Also I personally don't like using too much ether because of piston knock. WD-40 works great. Other trick is gas soaked rag held partially over intake. Don't let it get sucked in.
