Framerate and quality issues aside ...
This reminded me a lot of 5.9's in the Gunks.. A super fun climb though it wasn't the crack climbing I was expecting. Balancey and technical, it seemed to lack real finger & toe jams.
That or I'm actually learning how to do this.

I can't thank you enough for your first person footage. I started the game in my mid teens, which was back in the 80's. Got cut down at 34 with a back surgery. Your footage means more than you can imagine to me. I'm so grateful for you putting this out there. Your solid for sure! Just wanted to Sincerely thank you! 66carpenter, climb on!

at 7:20 i was like DAMN that is a tough looking finger crack but then your perspective shifted and it became clear that you had a side pull. great climbing.

Seth you make it look so easy. I'm pretty sure I'd take multiple whippers on a .10a finger crack. How did you develop your footwork? It seems you never have any weight on your hands...

In all honesty, I didn't really think of this as a crack climb. While it is a crack I follow, it climbs more like a technical face climb. Because of this, you're correct in that my feet were taking the majority of my weight.

Any tips on how to trust the feet and keep more weight on them? I always find myself relying too much on handholds...especially when leading steep terrain. Thanks Seth!

@@JeffMuzerolle climb more and practice and spend less time at the gym and more time on lead

@Jeff Muzerolle old school granite like Squamish and Yosemite will force you to climb with precise footwork
