I made ones with velcro last year for my family overseas. It took such a long time to make 12! Definitely had a production line going on! Now I'd like to make some for my family this year. It'll only be 4 so much easier!

I will definitely be making these for next Christmas and the crowns. One of the things we provide for family Christmas get togethers are the crackers. So I am going to make reusable ones. I will buy the book and do a Christmas project each month so it is all ready in time of next crimbo 🎄🎅🎄

I made the fabric crowns for the family but have decided to put them on the plates rather than in the crackers as like you said it is a very tight fit. But am so pleased with them

Lovely crackers and actually, we've all had paper crackers where the snap doesn't work!! So it's not a problem if the fabric ones are a bit hit and miss. They are so lovely they make up for any unsnappiness 😍😍😍😍😍😍

Enjoyed watching this video, Hayley, but left wondering how you work the cracker, getting the snap and keeping the fabric intact to be reusable.

So the snaps themselves aren’t reusable, you’ll have to replace them after use. You would just undo the ribbon in order to put a new snap in next year. As you pull the cracker make sure you and the other person pinches tight around the ribbon to get the snap to pul.
