idk what it is about the ark of the cosmos but it just does not feel better than the galaxia, i literally had to made another galaxia because i just felt the cosmos was very underwelming, i thought it was gunna keep the same abilities as the galaxia, not lose all of them

Best weapon in calamity used to be that one hammer weapon til they nerfed the absolute fuck out of it.

Complicated crafting, yes But the best melee weapon is the Iridescent Excalibur. Tho granted that requires defeating the Exo Bosses and unless you you add more mods for more content or Infernum mode, Ark of the Cosmos is likely the weapon youll use as melee to defeat Exo

What did I just sign up for

Personally, Galaxia is better because you can switch between mods and has stacking damage. If you are using some specific modes of Galaxia you notice its extremely op and Ark of the Cosmos hits less.

If you think calamity has the most annoying crafting trees, try the Fargo's mod like the Fargo's soul mod

ngl, ive never been a fan of galaxia getting mixed with aote, taking away the options a player can choose from to approach a given enemy just feels deflating, like things are getting more and more autopilot-y rather than giving the player more meaningful choices to make
