Well true ngl because in skylanders academy, they kinda ruin crash's character and make him smart as hell. Like don't get me wrong at least in TTR he kinda did something similar during the power gem's cutscenes BUT they done it in a more cartoony way and it was really neat and funny to see what crash's IQ but in skylanders they just like "Oh yeah let's just have some random british man voice him and make crash extremely know what the fuck what to do"

I agree. I actually really like the old school Crash design. I hope maybe we could get him as an unlockable costume in Crash 4. Or at least get a figure of him
27 not including bosses and the intro. but if you include the bosses and the intro then it's a total of: 33 levels. (27 normal levels + 5 boss battles + the intro level)

What the heck, Crash is incredibly loud and annoying here, probably the most unlikable character ever. I prefer the silent, focused and clumsy Crash. This is mockery
To be fair, sounds better than some other voice actors did back in the day. The delivery sounds somewhat natural, and the voice sounds like it fits. Of course, I'm not exactly someone with refined tastes, just what I personally think.
Dear god, this was a trailer for the game back then. Thank god I never saw this trailer. Thank god. I know Crash is from Australia but dear god. Thank god he never spoke in the Naughty Dog Era.
"Rocket with a pocket" may just be the worst thing I've ever heard in my life. The only thing that's "good" about this is the over-the-top voice acting and the occasional spastic animation.
To be honest? I honestly think that's what the developers were going for - to give Crash a brash, annoying and over-the-top personality. I think it's fucking hilarious, seriously, the first forty seconds of the trailer are genius.
Yeah, I see your point. I just think whoever wrote this tried too hard to be "clever," but admittedly, I do kinda like the first 40 seconds of this, but that's because I first saw this on a fake crash ps4 trailer and the audio was blasting.

This is the worst thing ever made by a human being. You can hear the desperation in that idiot's voice as he tries oh so hard to be funny. This is like when someone's dad tries to be funny during a speech at a wedding and everybody cringes. In retrospect, games were suffering from growing pains back then. Game trailers weren't all that common either so most people didn't see this shit
Minor differences: 0:01 The warp room has now a similar design to the final, but has different fonts and icon slots for the level entrances and items 0:01 Hang Eight is missing a clear gem 0:49 Crash falls in the right part of the level, which is not possible in the final game. The Wumpas behind the scenery also seem to be missing 0:50 This section of "Sewer or Later" was cut from the final game 0:53 The elevator moves quickly and Crash's animation freezess during the transition 1:16 There is a Lab Assistant moving and flaming upwards as (in-game) Crash is above the ceiling for the sake of the video 1:49 The player is able to move Crash while the Cortex hologram is being projected, which is not possible via glitch in the final game. Cortex's hologram animation was probably not ready at the moment, because all it shows is his head, frozen. The elevator in the middle is also missing 2:40 An armored armadillo was going to appear near the last ostrich along with a TNT crate, which isn't there in the final game 2:54 The trailer appears to show an incomplete part of the Hangin' Out, which was removed entirely from the game. There doesn't seem to be anything ahead of Crash, which explain the grayness. It also shows an upward mesh. There aren't any in of these in the final game, where they're all parallel to the ground 3:06 Crash can't slide on ice 3:09 The giant pink ostriches didn't originally squat when Crash steps on them 3:13 There is a mushroom appearing in the middle of a pit instead of next to the wall. This was presumably changed because it made getting out of the pit a bit difficult 3:14 An older version of the red space bomb which homes in on Crash is used instead
It actually is, I think it was more of an interesting game than 1 and 3, it felt more polished gameplay wise even tho the bossfights could be a bit boring, especially cortex, do you think crash 2 was the best in the installment?
