Thank you, Dr. Osborne. This video is very, very helpful! I have C-PTSD and I think I'm in a state of adrenal fatigue. It's like there's an on-off switch in my body that I can't turn on or off. Lots of things in daily life trigger fight-or-flight response. Please excuse my poor English... You are the best doctor!🥰

Much needed info with so many people sick from mold toxicity that wrecks your adrenals and thyroid because the immune system is constantly fighting this toxin and burning up Vit C. My whole family has almost no Vit C after black toxic mold exposure. We live in different homes but both are toxic and have caused the Vit C deficiency. Thank you sooo much Dr. Osborne for this video. I’m so fatigued and depressed. Seeking answers and this is very helpful.

Awesome info, thank you so much! @1:21:18 re alcoholics. I don't think anybody wants to be an alcoholic and destroy their life!!! It's NOT a choice!!! I know somebody who was given antibiotics as a child, which destroyed his microbiome balance, leading to systemic Candida. He always ate his Saturday weekly candy allowance in one sitting. Back then nobody understood there was an underlying problem until he became an adult, took the first sip of alcohol and was hooked, due to Candida which craves sugar/alcohol, and from there on it was a trip to Hell! Not long ago I happened to listen to an online series about health and one doctor mentioned she tells her alcoholic patients to put L-glutamine powder under their tongue to stop sugar/alcohol cravings. That's the way to help somebody with sugar/alcohol addiction! Sugar addiction is more difficult to deal with than heroin addiction!!! When the craving is under control then the person can deal with Candida and microbiome balance, and get their life back. He didn't know that and the meds they had him on made it all worse. He tried to quit but did not get the right kind of help. I don't know if he is still alive. Allopathic doctors destroyed my health! Now I only listen to functional medicine doctors.

First of all, I want to thank you again for the amazing job you do. I'm with functional med right now but changing doctors. This one had the right idea as to how I got leaky gut and SIBO. Same as i was thinking. A jaw surgery that left me with a 6 month infection. Appears a increase WBC for months on end was not a worry to anyone 🤔. Anyways, now I keep having new food allergies and SIBO since that surgery, my immunity switched. I was only sick 2 times uo until age 35. Since the surgery, I've been sick 3 times in 3 years. Now, functional claims I have high stress in my life, and I'm doing this to myself. All because 1 week after a bad round of SIBO I did the spit test of 6 viles for cortisol levels. I'm at an all day long too high cortisol level. He has been making assumptions and honestly trying to gas light and pick fights with me in the office. I find it ironic, since I stay calm and he is my only stresser. My stool showed I had zero gut bacteria left. I had a feeling because while on xifaxan about 5 days in, I had blurry vision, heart palpitations, slurred speach a few times, up and down BP, chest pains, up and down temp with zero infection found, up and down heart rate, and my sugar would drop when I ate, if I didn't have fruit with the meal. Ever since my sugar keeps dropping low. It at least goes up when I eat, now. It still runs overall, low. My heart rate isn't as low as it use to be. My BP is sometimes a little higher than my normal. I'm assuming all of this is the gut imbalance, lack of bacteria and the major stress that was put on my body during SIBO. I'm on a lot of vitamins, Including B5 and B6. I'm taking gelatin, 2g of L-glutamine and 8oz of kettle and fire beef bone broth to try to heal my gut. I'm also taking ashwagandha. 400mg bid. Im eating ONLY meats, vegetables, fruits and rice. Im gluten free. I get 7 to 8 hr of sleep. Not man made junk. No junk food. I'm hoping in time this will get my adrenal glands to calm down and level out? I legit have no stressers. My life is good except my health. Prior to this round of SIBO a few weeks ago, I ran and lifted.. nothing crazy. A 10 to 15min jog with the dog 2 to 3 days a week. Lifted 3 days a week for about an hr. Little after. I've been doing exercises my whole life. 25 years of my 38 years. I haven't ran since the SIBO. I've backed off the set count and amount of weight at the gym, to not overdo it. I understand that exercise releases cortisol too. I take longer times for recovery so I don't stress my body. I have been meditating, walking the dogs. Any other tips at all? I don't see the new functional med guy until Dec 4th. So far I've learn far more from you than the one I have been seeing. Sad part is, I'm a respiratory therapist. Whole I'm all about lungs, i understand basics to most body functions, as they rely on oxygenation dn ventilation to live. This dr is treating me like I'm one of those patients that do things to themselves. The SIBO was from a ginger tea that had LEMON grass in it. I didn't know. I kept drinking it and thinking a food was bloating me. One day I drank it without a meal and it clicked. I read the box. I didn't know lemon grass was a thing. Ignorance. I'm extremely allergic to grass since the immunity switch. I can't have any grass in my body and I can't mow the lawn anymore. Otherwise, I'm OK outside just fine. Also, why I don't eat wheat. I started getting hives and bloated stomach with that, since the immunity switch. Long I know. If you have any tips for getting my cortisol down, please help. Thank you. Ps finally got one of them to set me up with a referral to an endocrinologist. I guess only I think a sugar of 60 is too low. Smh

Ya I had so much energy until I was in bad relationship etc then boom nonstop tired. Wake up have to nap about 6 times per day for awhile but hve to drink alot xaffeine just to survive. I know it's not good but doctors hve no clue went to one an explained everything. I was told have u had counciling , I was about to punch him. I researched nonstop then did a morning cortisol an it was very very very low. That was 15yrs ago still have issues of tired an before that happened never drank caffeine or planned to stay awake. I could stay up all night, no caffeine or stimulants an sleep little an still have alot of energy. I know I crashed my cortisol. Sad is medical needs gone until the legit things come to light. I have a hormone doc now an hope he will get to bottom as I'm having thyroid issues now. I just want my energy back not told well your getting old. At 38 at the time I felt 95 and now I live on caffeine an modanifil to try an live a normal life

I paid to have a lab do hormone panel. ZRT Labs. It is saliva collected a cpl times a day. Saliva a better marker more accurant than blood. By factors. Was $125 for 3 hormones. Lab is ZRT and has free shipping label and quick return. You'll see different hormone panels or just Cortisol. They send a paoer w results and perameters for hi/low. They also have 10% off first test.
