My favorites were the old Bennettons F1, the Rothmans Williams F1 and the orange-white F1 McLaren. Also, I never get tired of seeing that insane Aero-Subaru. And and: How crazy are those Rallye-Toyotas in the beginning? that driver threw the black car so hard in to that corner. INSANE 🔥
I love that some of the classic cars get to be driven/enjoyed as intended, while still being cared for. I often find it sad to see cars just rotting away in some private collection in the dark, or heaven forbid, a barn
8:21 You can see the wheel come off from the jaguar car and the wheel then cartwheeled into the crowd injured some of the people who were watching from the sidelines
In case anyone's wondering why not all the drivers go nuts, it's because the private road runs through an old English country garden. You can be as wild as you like, as long as you KEEP OFF THE GRASS. Spins, drifts, burn-outs and doughnuts are all fine, but if your wheels touch the grass Lord March gets annoyed and locks you up in Goodwood's medieval dungeon for 30 days to think about the terrible thing you've done. Rule One: keep off the grass. Rule Two: observe Rule One. It takes nerves of steel and a lot of skill to put on a show without losing your liberty.🤭
Great vid. I always wonder tho how I genuine amateur for automotive sports can appreciate drifting, as it sums up to the art ot turning horsepower into anything - smoke, noise, rubber on asphalt - but efficiency and fast moving.
3:23 . ok someone tell me what ERA was this car in... cause i am laughing tooooo freaking hard at that aero. id take a guess mid 60's? that has to be the funniest thing i've seen all day... also OMG that 787b sounded so good. its going into retirement shortly as per a mazda video from a little over a week ago... and my gosh the anti lag on the rally cars is nutty. 6:01 not a bmw guy, but this looks MEAN and i really dig it. and that tire falling off the jag i was watching live and was like "NOOOOO" glad no one was really hurt, and like always that hoonigan subi is just a master piece to look at.
Wings came late 60s in Formula 1. The engineers still had very limited experience, so they tried different designs. The first wings seen in motorsport was all placed high in the air. This design were seen in racing like Formula 1, Can Am and Nascar (Superbird/Daytona)
@@SCOOTSUPERCARS Every time we watch a documentary and they mention something then say *but sadly no footage exists* its dudes like you caring about feelings ! 😂 , least you caught it snapping off , ive seen enough wheels vs people to Imagine what happened..👍🏻
FOS is mainly focused on the newest and current techngology, explaining the time records for both production car as well of race and prototype cars. If you want a sound competition, just go to the streets and check it, but not in FOS
