The Dursley theory misses one major plot - the actual beginning of the first book, when it describes how rotten they really were, as McGonagall watched them go about their day, and how they acted at work and with their neighbors. They were already on the path to being horrible people.

Not really a theory not more like a thought. Voldemort didn’t have any hair, it’s so people didn’t use it in polyjuice potion. 😂😂🥰

I also really like the theory that the other 3 founders also created their own secret chambers. Salazar obviously had the "Chamber Of Secrets" with the basilisk, Dumbledore's office was Godric's (it's literally guarded by a gryphon door, lol), the Room of Requirement would be Helga's because she was kind and would have helped any student so a room that would help anyone regardless of house affiliation based on what they need, and Rowena created the passageways out of the school as one would need to be wise to uncover them (or have the Maurauder's Map) and the moving staircases were her puzzle to throw those without a sharp mind off the trail.

I have no doubt that Pip has put in a lot of hard work on this 😺

Another conspiracy: Remember when Ron tried turning his rat yellow on the train when meeting Hermione and Harry? Remember it didn’t work? It’s cause it wasn’t a real rat. 1) is more like a pretty solid theory, the horcruxes didnt manifest these behaviors only encouraged and fed off the negative effects. How people behaved around these horcruxes with toxic or harmful behaviors were things they were already capable of, the Dursleys were already wary and fearful of magic while Petunia had a well of jealousy to feed off of. If that wasn’t there it’s very likely Petunia wouldn’t have stood for how Harry was treated, but because he was infused with Voldemorts soul as a horcrux it acted as an off switch to her cognitive moral compass.

It’s true, Crookshanks is not a cat BUT he is a Kneazle, not an animagus. Rowling had actually said so

I do love the Theory with Neville being the chosen one. There is almost a whole chapter in The Order of Phoenix though vehemently disproving that. On the side, I personally would have liked it if Harry stayed d3ad at the end, not because i dislike him or anything, It just would have been cool if Neville then did win over Voldemort, giving him his time to shine. Plus in the books Harry specifically told Neville about the Horkrux-thing and Nagini needing to d1e before Voldemort could, on his way into the forbidden forest. Also it would prove, that plot armour is not untouchable. Amazing video! 🥰keep on doing nerdy content like this pleeease, I love it. Regarding Neville vs. Harry . . . Let's not forget, according to book 5 (I think), Harry actually only *became* the Chosen One because whoever forwarded Voldemort that prophecy only heard part of it, and so Voldemort assumed it must be about Harry Potter and went and tried to kill him. I think I remember Harry even notes when he finds out that it very easily could have been, and probably should have been, Neville in his place.

Longbottom isn't the chosen one, but he always had the potential to be. She said the Dark Lord would mark the Chosen One as his Equal. Tom only marked Harry. Why? Because both of them were born of parents who weren't considered "pure blood".

Also, with the Crookshanks theory, the fix to the plot hole is Professor Trelawney. She may have been a quack, but she was an actual Seer. She could have told Dumbledore. She is the one who made the prophecy that Voldemort decided meant Harry instead of Neville. OR another fix is Felix Felicis, aka Liquid Luck. You know, the potion given to Harry by Professor Slughorn in Halfblood Prince? Dumbledore could have taken some.

The prophecy could have referred to either Harry or Neville, but then Voldemort marked Harry as his equal fulfilling that part of the prophecy and making Harry the chosen one. If Voldy hadn’t chosen either child, he wouldn’t have been defeated.

The Crookshanks theory made me think. If Crookshanks was an animagus, which character would Crookshanks be? Or just a character that was never mentioned?

I’m ginger too, so immune? I’ve been shaving my head since about 35, and I’m 49 now, but recovering from bottom surgery has been draining and it is sometimes longer than I like between shaves (ergo a few days) and when it’s stubble it looks brown. My Mum said I stole the rest of her red hair when I wasa kid as they were a brunette when I knew them … do I have brown hair now, or if I like it grow inches would it be ginger? Who knows. It is possible that souls can come l8er, but you lose an awesome hair colour, so is it worth it?

Okay okay okay, no on one thing! No on the "Harry Potter as a horcrux turned the Dursleys evil", my theory is that IF all horcruxes makes you feel evil, then someone in the entire school of the brightest witches and warlocks would have sensed it! There would be amazing seers, they would react to it - my theory is that each horcrux had it's own kind of evil (since it was a part of the most complete evil in the world). The medallion would be hate, the diary loneliness and Potter would be..... doubt! Nothing makes people do weird things like doubt and feeling unsure of yourself for years could make even the nicest family do evil things.. That's why no one had "outed" him for being a horcrux, as soon as they had the idea, they doubted it again!! 🖐🏼 🎤

Harry being a horcrux probably made his aunt and uncle terrible, but McGonagall was concerned about placing Harry with them after watching for a day. And Gryffindor tower did not fall into a hate Harry pile until year 4, which was reversed the next year. Hermione not getting her hands dirty? She spent weeks recovering from being a cat Crookshanks was part kneazle. The map insulted Snape, the marauders' least favorite person. Peter Pettigrew was well know as being dead at that point. And why would the twins spend time with their brother Percy's rat, as that was who owned the rat before the Ron did? Neville was not the chosen one because he was not chosen by Voldemort.

Technology in Hogwarts … just saw a utube short where Alan Rickman takes over Lupin’s defence against the dark arts class and he has a screen projector and I think I hear machines starting up when he magicks Ron’s book to the chapter on werewolves … movies for you!

Hear me out. The reason Dumbledore doesn't want to be removed off of the chocolate frog cards in Order of the Phoenix is so he can spy on everyone anywhere. The portraits can move from one frame to another plus they can talk & communicate with their original self. So anybody that has a chocolate frog card of Dumbledore is constantly giving him any information he wants, from card to card right back to the real Dumbledore.
