I realised here how much I forget about the culture difference between Japan and England, I live in Japan but I'm from England so I see green I think matcha and its just normal very common flavour for me.. It's actually probably my go-to flavour choice for sweets and icecream actually.

호지차는 홍차가 아니라 녹차입니다. 우리가 생각하는 황색/녹색류의 녹차는 찐 찻잎을 우린 거고, 호지차는 볶은 찻잎을 우린 겁니다. 그래서 커피처럼 로스팅 풍미가 강합니다. 마셔보면 녹차는 물론이고 홍차와도 확연한 차이가 있습니다.

Japanese kit kat flavors is arguable the best in the whole world in my opinion. I went to Japan and literally bought all the flavors that I could find. Their matcha kit kat (in all the different renditions) is legit the best in the world and definitely for those who love the flavor of matcha! I didn't see the apple or tokyo banana ones there so I'll have to try those one day but I am imagine I'll like it! The sake one TRULY has a strong sake taste so beware! I bought some in the exact same packaging and ended up giving it away as the alcohol taste was just too strong for me!

The sakura (cherry blossom) sake kitkats taste like fancy hand soap to me. The regular green tea ones are great. They also make sea salt flavored kitkats (which are amazing), lemon kitkats, jasmine tea kitkats, mocha&dark chocolate kitkats, white chocolate kitkats, cheesecake kitkats and raspberry kitkats. I see the individually wrapped small ones in this one shop at the asian market I sometimes go to, and they're all so good. The sea salt one is one of my favorites so far. I'll see if I can find some of each to send you guys as a cool little treat when I can. ^__^

Tokyo Banana is a super famous and super popular souvenir from Tokyo. It's the shape of a banana and it's like a soft cake with sweet filling inside. I've lived in Japan for YEARS and I have never seen most of these flavours available in normal supermarkets or conbinis... Hojicha is boiled green tea. The good thing about the Wasabi Kitkat is that the spice and taste isn't all that strong so it's really pleasant to eat.

I love the wasabi KitKat! When I was in Japan, I also had a strawberry and cherry blossom limited edition KitKat and it was awesome! You can also get KitKats that you have to bake a before eating (it’s a sweet potato flavor and it’s awesome).
