I'll never forgive Lilly for what she did to Carley, but I still feel sorry for her, if that fuck-up Ben had just come clean right then and there, Carley would've still been alive and Lilly would still be with them.

I really liked Carley, she's didn't deserve to die.

I didn't like her but I didn't hate her, until she kills Carly/Doug. I understood that she was just falling apart. If she could have gotten through things I think she would have been a really strong leader behind Lee.

If you understood Lilly's position, then you had the green light to give her a chance to make up for her mistakes and help Kenny the same way too. They both wanted to be leaders of the group and they ended up destroying it.

​@@vromaki I don't believe Lilly actually wanted to be a leader. I think she saw it as a responsibility because she used to be a soldier which made her, on paper, the most suited for the role. It's also obvious that her father was pushing her because of how highly he thought of her. He definitely believed that only his daughter could lead the group. But Lilly mostly seemed to hate being in that position. She was fed up with Kenny basically telling her, every time she took a decision, "lmao nah we should to the exact opposite you idiot". She was the one always in charge of the food and only tells Lee to do it in episode 2 because she's tired of it. And in episode 3 when she tells the group that their medicine and other stuff is disappearing, because I kid you not she is the ONLY ONE in the group making sure that they have what they ALL need to survive, they act like she's crazy despite her being right. She's basically doing everything for the group and no one seems to be actually helping unless she asks for it. No wonder they almost all died by the end of season one. So yeah, I'm pretty sure she was having some kind of mental breakdown, especially after her father's death, and I can't say I was surprised to see her lose it eventually, even if I hated what happened. Still, as much as I empathized with her, I still chose to let her go because I felt like I had to choose between helping her (without even a guarantee of being able to do so), risking the lives of everyone else in the group and abandoning her to protect the group while still giving her a (small) chance. I hated both choices but chose the one who felt... "less worse" than the other to me.

That is only if you didn't tell the group you were a murderer. Otherwise she just says "Hey we're all murderers!". When the rest of the group doesn't know she tries to use it to bargain.

There's one scene in episode 5 (past the episode 4 belltower scene with ben) where after lee either leaves his arm on or cuts it off, and after they climb the ladder and reach the roof, you can ask ben "you still wanna die?" And he'll respond "I'm more afraid of getting someone else killed." And I truly think that was genuine when he said that.

At the beginning when Lilly accuses Carley, instead of defending her you might choose the "Why her?" and Lilly replies "She's always so eager to see what supplies we found, she never talks about her family, as far as we know she might be related to those bastards" (referring to the bandits) which was disproved when Carley shot those two bandits, I mean, if she was related to bandits, why would she kill them? or why should she Carley help the group defeat St Johns by shooting Andy while giving Lee time to go after a stunned Andy? after all, the food source of the bandits was the farm, no farm=less food for the bandits

Carley was like Kenny in that they both matched Lily's energy. They didn't take Lily's attempts at dominating lying down

Well lily thought Carly being so eager to see what supplies lee and kenny get which gets disproven then she targets ben and he was being hella suspicious. But Carly was actively defending him so which made her think Carly is attempting to cover for him. In short Carly made her self a target for defending ben when he was clearly guilty. Lily knew Ben was hiding something but the way Carly was acting made it seem like Carly knew something about all of this which may make her complicit with the fall of the motor inn

I think it is interesting that she never suspects Doug though if he survives, completely targeting Ben (in that scenario she's completely right lol), meaning he supposedly did prove himself more trustworthy in between the episodes.

Yeah. I disliked Ben more than Lily (and Kenny). It's not even that he fucked up. It's that he fucked up so bad it lead to an unforgivable amount of deaths and, ultimately, the collapse of the group. He wasn't even enough of an asshole to stand by his decisions. He basically breaks down with guilt and spilled his secret at the worst possible moment. If you kept him around as long as you could, him dying by Kenny's hand so Kenny cam escape walkers was too good for him.

It’s sad. He never wanted it to turn out like this, he just did it because he thought it would keep them safe. But, after that, he just kept messing up. And he ultimately made himself useless in the end.

Not to mention he caused an absurd amount of deaths

That's why I always leave him to get eaten by the Walkers at the bell tower

It was a little cold and selfish in my opinion. Because Carley practically said that she would let someone else to suffer except herself.

She said it that way cuz Ben allowed ppl to walk over him and he pick and chose when to be weak honestly. He was the most selfish person in their group. Carley on said that because just cuz Ben allowed Lily to talk to him however she wanted, doesn’t mean Lily is allowed to behave that way with everyone. I feel Lily didn’t like Lee and Carley friendship/almost relationship thingy. Cuz if Lily was so pressed abt something petty, wouldn’t she have offed Kenny by now? Especially for killing her dad the way she did. Along with pettiness, Lily was probably jealous of Carley in some way. Cuz Carley also saved more ppl than Lily ever did, was a great shot with barely any gun knowledge, and got along really well with Lee. Lily and Lee could’ve been a nice friendship, but Lily has too much ego and pride.

Rumors have it that season 2 was supposed to be the last season and would’ve had soooo many dark elements to it . For example , Clem was supposed to get shot in episode 1 by a guy named Winston , Carver supposedly sexually assaulted Rebecca which got her pregnant , Troy was supposed to molest Clem before she killed him , Kenny was supposed to be carver originally , Luke was supposed to be bitten and Clem had to put him down . And lastly Clem and AJ were supposed to be the last survivors of the group and the final episode was supposed to be called “ Better to sleep “ which would’ve gave Clem the choice to either die with AJ in the snow due to hyperthermia or leave AJ on the ground to die by himself and have Clem leave him while she goes into a new town alone . Season 2 was really supposed to be a dark ass season and I’m kinda disappointed that so much content was cut out the game

It's obvious that Ben was not accustomed to the apocalyptic situation involving bandits as his group was to the point where he started panicking and making stupid decisions. I know it's not much to defend him but face it, a lot of people would be doing the same thing too. I, however, blame Lilly for pressuring him and causing the situation to spiral out of control. Had she calmed down and kept her paranoia in check or at least dropped the situation about the stolen supplies, Carley would at least lived, though at the cost of Ben being booted.

I was blaming Lily for escalating the situation when she pressured Ben too much instead of leaving him alone and dropping it. Though, I do admit, Ben confessing his faults at the wrong time was a very f*cking dumb idea. Then again, not everyone would have survivor status from day 1, let alone 3 months.

I blame Lily for escalating it further and pressuring Ben instead of dropping it. Also, not everyone would have an immediate survivor instinct from day 1 of the outbreak, let alone 3 months. I kind of blame the motel survivors as well because they did not bother to help Ben and the rest of the children in the motel out with survivability skills until Chuck told Lee that Clem might die because she was not trained to survive the apocalypse.
