I tour the GIE looking for new landscaping tools, gear and equipment. This video has: Cub cadet's GPS mower, Cats New Excavator, a remote hillside mower, DR log splitter, ramp racks and more Todays video sponsor is rogueleasing.c...
Man I just have to say keep up the great work! We need more Self-Employed contractors. I myself owned a dirt contractor company and had to get a job with insurance due to family medical. I wish you would had this content a decade ago it would have helped me out a bunch. I hope future self employees watch this and take it in. Almost everything you talk about work, employees, and financial is accurate. Just thank you for helping build a better future for our country!
I really like that you are approachable and not wanting the TUBE audience but generally appreciating your viewers, thanks for that. Your channel is truly people oriented.
Four years into retirement after spending 30 years as a firefighter and EMT watching these expo and dealer only videos are rather cool. Need to find a channel that does fire fighting equipment and gear just for the fun of it. There’s always new stuff coming out, no matter what profession you are in. Thanks for taking us along!
@@Dirtmonkey I’ve been to two different ones here in Michigan, one in Roscommon, Mi annual firefighters memorial in September and one in Novi actual expo on everything new in the business. At the memorial it has a lot of vehicle vendors and support equipment, along with other activities such as a light parade, remembrance memorial of past members with line of duty death.
I watched two guys come to our landfill and mow 3 to 1 and 2.5 to 1 slopes with a Deere and Fendt tractor with large batwing mowers. Singles on the front and rear. Tractors couldn’t run perfectly sideways... they tried... but the tractors crabbed a bit on the steeper part of the slopes. I should have filmed it because I never would have believed those normal tractors would be capable of side sloping slopes like that. Crazy. I’m going to show those tracked slope mowers to our leadership. That looks like a great alternative to hiring out our mowing needs
Stanley this video content is good for the contractor --One you talk about the changes on some of the new machines that are up and coming, how they are workable as for break downs fixing them. You also tell it like it is which I really admire most guys just--dont talk and explain the bad with the good only the good. Keep the videos coming.
Dude everything you say and do in your videos are 100-percent helpful and educational to people ...I'm 43 years old and I'm still learning new stuff I'm going to check out Rogue leasing thank you
Thanks for the video I really enjoy it it's nice to see you while you're comments you're amazing God should bless you for your work I hope your wife is happy about you enjoy life can't wait for the next one
Love the way you split up the sponsored parts of the vid in small sections... its much less intrusive and people are less likely to skip thru it. Keep it up stan!
@@Dirtmonkey I’d love to meet you sometime. I’ve always enjoyed your content. Any tips on becoming an Echo or Toro partner would be great! 👍 I talked with them both at GIE.
@@Dirtmonkey also a fellow Minnesotan and RU-vidr… lol wasn’t sure what area you worked, looks like Bloomington and at Paul area’s. I would guess though you probably work where ever there’s work. Lol
Stan, i feel like we all were gifted at the 2021 GIE, i think it defiantly gave the people an extra year to get it right, so stan, how was your day, my day was amazing, we had our senior class photo today and so we went outside in front of the school and we all stood their and a drone took the pictures, it was defiantly something else man. Camera tech defiantly took to new heights lol. Oh stan, i was checking out Gravely and john deer JSVs, their so sweet man, i wonder if they make a snowblower attachment for them, i men the plow is nice, i like the set up you have for yours, but i think it would be pretty sweet to have the snowblower attachment on that sucker. I also hear that you will be seeing some snowflakes soon, that’s a pretty big storm coming up your way. Oh and stan, we had thanksgiving at our school today, we cooked the turkeys, the mashed potatoes, the stuffing, the rolls, and the green beans. Also made fresh cranberry sauce with our very own NJ cranberry’s, the food was sooooo good man. It was made with love, and i am so glad that my culinary class got to cook for the entire school. And then. My first block classs, well that was just insanity lol, their was a whole bird in our class, talk about up n close with nature, well it got into the hallway, then a kid from my class, captured the bird with his barre hands, didn’t hurt it, then he brought it to the class, and said he was a master bird catcher, the whole class moved back lol, then he let the bird fly away outside. I was sure amazed. But all in all, it was a great day, its also Veterans Day tomorrow, i made sure to call all the family members that served and i thanked hem and tomorrow were all going to Buffalo Wild Wings to celebrate their service to this country. My popop manned the mussel silos in the 50s during the Cold War, my uncle Gary served in overseas in Germany, he kept guard at the base and he had vital skills which meant if he left the base, he had armed guards follow with him so nobody could capture him, you have to remember that this was in Germany, when they separated to west and east. He said the east was depressing, but he was glad when the wall came down. And my cousin just got back from japan, he was their for a year and a half, he said they were on alert and when the mussels form North Korea would go flying into the Sea of Japan, but they all did their duty’s, and m aunt served in the golf war, she helped sign papers to allow for the mass movement of equipment to go and fight in the war. So many great patriots, I’m sure their are many more, and to these who do read this, god bless and thank you for your service, oh and stan, for dinner we had chicken. And broccoli casserole, it was so good. Well San, you have a great night, god bless and go get em, your pal and friend, Alexander costa
Please give your family members that have served in the military a thank you from me as well. What kind of bird broke into your school? Your Thanksgiving sounded delicious
Municipality I work for just recently purchase on of those RC mowers. Very versatile. We have a lot of weed eater work it has eliminated and everyone can stay safe on flat ground now.
@@Dirtmonkey it has definitely saved some time. It belongs to our local cemetery and the land is very hilly. They had an employee roll a mower and that pretty much sealed the deal. Guy was ok but I'm sure very shaken up!
For mini loaders, people should look at the Wacker Neuson. The WL-32 can be purchased with a 60hp motor and high flow. The machine is 56 inches wide, perfect for sidewalk miles.
I just got delivery of my new 303 e. Wish they would have had the 303 CR with tilt cab available when I ordered mine. Also comes with a hydraulic coupler from the. Adam from elite lawn Care is a great friend of mine glad you got him in the video!!!!!
@@jackofall2305 the swing boom on the joystick is the backing point. If you have to take your hand off the controls or feet off the pedals to be able to operate a function it's not worth it
@@Dirtmonkey from what I have heard is that their rack and pinion gears do not last at all and they say it's a wear item. Super split owners don't have the replace the rack and pinion gears but they use good quality steel.
The Cub Auto steer. It's pretty sweet. That's coming from a guy that's not big on AI stuff. That allows a human element yet adds perfect lines every time. Not for me just yet but like the guy said, athletic complexes or massive properties with open air. Yeah it's pretty sweet
That was Really Great Stan, it's neat to see all the new equipment coming down the pike! But as for remote operated machinery, the underground mining industry has been using remote controlled LHDs (scoop trams) as long as I can remember, they use them everywhere where it's too dangerous for a human to work in. We also use camera remote scoop trams where the scoop tram isn't visible to the operator, but they are difficult to use like when the radio signal is lost and from my experience that was a regular event. Anyways I'll be looking forward to that Hardware/ Inventor's video, Thanks Stan!
@@Dirtmonkey yes and no, it all depends on your antenna location, but to mining laws it can be sketchy, they want the muck but they give you the operator a have a hard time doing it, I have done illegal things a few times, just don't get caught, lol.
The shoes do make a world of difference. But the difference between a track-steer & skid-steer is enormous. Tracks transform that machine into a mini D9 Dozer. Technology in rubber compounds make it possible. John Deere trumps them all. But very expensive. Ramp rack can have my money.
Hey Stan thanks for sharing about Tony. I emailed them during your video. Me and my fiance have a tree service & Landscaping business here in Florida. We could really use some financing. It's really hard to come up with cash for everything.
If you had a 2 acre leaf clean up and needed to buy a new leaf blower what would you get? I got a job coming up like this and need another one. As long as it can fit in the back of my truck lol
OSHA is about that 16 year old hurdle. Farm shows have the same situation. A guy runs combines on the farm for harvest or part of the family custom farm operation, but can't get into the show even if he is a pro in the field with 3 years of experience.
Stan have you herd of the orec snow bull or even tried anything like that I am thinking about investing in one but haven't been able to find much out from an owner review side
