Crazy road rage incident in front of cops! - Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada 

100%. It seems to be a lot of pick up drivers and Audi drivers where I live. Not hating I know both good pick up and Audi drivers just seems to be the norm for me in New England. What makes people think they have the right to break check and stop traffic to run their mouth is beyond me.

I remember reading a stat to the effect of 90% of speeding tickets going to 10% of drivers.

@@TechnicallyJustin I don't really notice Audi drivers here (in NY), but I have to agree with pickup drivers. Like you, I know good drivers, and don't want to slam them all... But it seems like most pickup drivers around here drive like assholes! They're either tailgating or driving like they own the road!

It is usually BMW drivers down here in Austin. They brought their anus ways from California, I suppose!

I didn’t know it either, until I got involved in a car accident and a policeman was a witness to the driver behind me saying it wasn’t my fault. He gave me his card with his number for proof with any claims etc

Ya I remember that feeling when I was about 10 years old. I was riding my bike with a friend to McDonalds with a pocket full of change. Next thing I knew to teens came after us. I got away my friend didn't and one of them took my friends bike to come after me...I didn't know this had happened until I heard my friends bike coming I thought he got away too. Then I turned to see it was one of the teens. I stopped. He mugged me at knifepoint on a busy street. I saw cops driving up as he had the knife on me. I waved my arms frantically to get their attention. They waved and kept going. I'm lucky I'm not dead thanks to those wonderful officers.

A similar incident happened to me a few hours ago. Speeding driver cut into my lane, without warning, or enough space (between me, and the car in front of me) to do so. I blew the horn. He gave me the finger. He was completely in the wrong. Then, he darted over into the next lane. Dangerous, negligent driving. People act insane now.

@focke wulf wtf is a law maker going to do? There are laws against reckless driving there but people will Break them regardless. Cmon now.

@focke wulf and what’s a severe enough punishment? Right now, If you get too many points on your license for reckless driving, it will get taken away and you can’t drive. If you get caught while driving without a license you can go to jail. But people still do it anyways.

@focke wulf budy, i applaud the fact that your heart and brain are pointing for sure in the right direction, however, in America, where most of these clips come from, such laws will never be approved: In canada they'll be seen as unnecessary as there rarely this kind of encounters happen. In USA you can bet your everything that someone is gonna say that such laws are anticonstitucional and offended their "liberties" Law enforcement in Mexico? What a friking joke. Can say the same for colombia, Chile, Venezuela, Panama and Colombia. In Brazil people who breaks the law are either too dumb to understand what's going on, or have balls of steel, given that the cops in there don't give a crap and have shaky trigger fingers.

Sometimes it's once in a lifetime. It happened to me several years ago when a lady to my right suddenly left turned inches in front of me. When a cop came out of nowhere he chased her as she turned right at the next light, a one way street going left hahaha!

tons of pick up truck drivers drive like that because they think their truck makes them bigger and badder but turns out the new generation pickup trucks nowadays crunch like cars in a car crusher during accidents, And the newer trucks today are made of the poorest quality of materials..

Moreover, I suspect that many of the indignant drivers conveniently forget the number of times they have committed the same error. Bullies lack self-control and self-awareness. I've seen pedestrians chastising parkers for not seeing them in parking lots only moments after they themselves committed the same mistake.

@@garfieldsmith332 .. My state has a similar "reckless driving" law. In fact, I just recently barely avoided it, only because the sheriff wrote a lower speed. There's a long, freshly paved, divided four-lane nearby with almost no traffic that just invites speeding. Anyway, as for road rage, my state has other restraints as well. For example, our castle law greatly reduces road rage confrontations.

In addition to a widely divided country four-lane, there's adjacent wide ditches and then two-lane utility roads on each side with any houses or businesses well beyond that and normally only a vehicle or two every mile or so. Other than the occasional drunk driver or whatever, there hasn't been a major accident in years. And those drunk drivers usually run off the road, not into another. They built the road hoping to attract businesses along it (between this town & a popular recreational area), but, due to geography (a large river, limited bridges, another popular freeway leading to the same area, etc), it's not happening (businesses are spreading in the opposite direction). I'm sure the sheriff, who lives along that road, does a little speeding himself. Take care, Mr Smith. Nice talking to you.

Because a passing manuever should take no more than 10-15 seconds; if you are sitting in the left lane going slightly faster than the center lane, you are still blocking the left lane, because you're deciding not just you but everyone's speed behind you in the left lane should only be slightly faster than the center lane, no matter the situation, whether there's an emergency, etc. Use left lane only to pass, then get back into the center lane

I once flipped off a woman in a pick up and she sped up to 90 just to flip me off. It was the most pathetic thing I’ve witnessed. This was after she wouldn’t let me pass for 20 minutes.

Oh, get real. The car driver pulled in front of that truck without proper signaling (in advance, not while doing it) and then intentionally slowed down slower then the lane he left (the white sedan in that lane was going faster). In other words, he provoked the incident and is now acting like the victim.

Not all of us Canadians are like him.

i like your sentiment, but i don't agree with it. "Human nature is to help our fellow humans in times of trouble." that's what we'd like to believe, but i think that society has shown us that it is getting more and more selfish. people will care only about saving themselves, especially if they really believe their lives are in jeopardy
