I’m a brown girl from Bangladesh. I’m living here for 3 years now and obviously stand out in the crowd of Japan. got a lot of funny stories like you too!🤣 and people often think I’m from India 🤦🏻‍♀️.

I didn't know you lived in China before. Which city did you live in? We definitely say some wild things to foreigners in the US. Though as a foreigner abroad, my biggest pet peeve is being asked where I am from before I am asked my name...or literally anything else. The hair thing is quite relatable. I used to wear my hair very big and proud in the US, but in China I noticed that over the years I have made an effort to keep it as "tame" as possible or wear it in a bun to avoid comments. I think the wildest comments I have been asked...are not that wild. I mostly get asked if my hair is naturally like this or if it's chemically permed.

I lived in Beijing! I worked at a middle and high school there. One of my biggest regrets is that I never took the time to visit Shang Hai while I was there lol

@@ThePaperPat Yea it's a shame it's very difficult to visit now, but hopefully in the future 😂. If you visit feel free to contact me if you need cool local places to check out.

I enjoyed your short videos! Thanks! I had to delete my tiktok account because it was too addictive and time-consuming. A slice of it on youtube however is better for me.

Not so much what they’ve said to me, but when I was in Bolivia there was a group of people walking up to me taking my picture lol.

I lived in Japan for a bit. I was there to study. I got confused for American a lot because Japanese think everyone is an American, but I told them I was Canadian with Peruvian descent. The Japanese are nice to me when I was there, especially the elderly believe it or not. I’ve followed other black content creators living in Asia and I’ve seen most having a good time there like you, but some that moved back to where they are originally from. Anyways, I always like watching your videos!
