At this point Stratia has its own step on all my routines. Its so unique yet so essential and basic in the best of the senses. I just got it for my mom, who has mature and DRY DRY DRY skin and she can't stop raving about it! All thanks to you, Kelly!
Thank you so much Kelly. I got the modulating glucosides and stratia liquid gold when you recommended them before and it saved my dry sensitive skin that was irritated by tretinoin then. Even now that I'm more acclimatised to tretinoin they still do a great job for my skin :)
Hi Kelly my skin is not happy with some of these 😪at all. I have seriously sensitive skin with both rosacea and eczema, but the Stratia liquid gold caused a major reaction on patch testing. CBD is another ingredient my skin seems to absolutely hate and the niod MG has started to irritate me (after using three previous bottles, this new one isn't working for me). I am using the PC omega serum at the moment, so it's fine. For those who are experiencing irritated skin please patch test these thoroughly as we can be sensitive or allergic to anything and even this type of product can cause issues. Best wishes.
Awh u should have got it last week they were having a sale . They have a new peptide cream too but they still have a thing ware u can get both for 41$ which is a good deal I made the mistake of forgetting to check out left my page out and it wasn't checked out and the sale was over I was so upset cause I have wanted to try them and the geek and Georgus brand so long everyone hype both up . They now made a bigger liquid gold too for all those LG lovers ..lol
If you check out AliceInTheRabbitHole, she's got a Stratia review video from last year with a $10 referral link/code. I used it like two weeks ago or whenever the sale was. I ended up saving forty cents more with her code than the sale code. :)
I would love to see an updated tret winter routine video! I wish I could use stratia liquid gold but my skin is sensitive to niacinamide and it’s in everything!!!
@@KellyDriscoll I don’t mind that you don’t change your routine, I still like watching!! What about a winter foundation/concealer video? Do you switch your makeup with the seasons?
I learn so much from your videos! I have the same skin type & you are so helpful. Thanks for all you do! I would like see a video on which oil ingredients to avoid in products that are irritating/cause breakouts/clog pores.
Hey Kelly , could you please share your winter morning and night skincare routin ? Amd do you feel dryness during the day ?.Do you use mist or what do you do when you feel dryness ? Thank you @kelly
Recently I came across your videos and I love them (Madaboutskin introduced you to me). I have dry skin and I live in a very dry climate. I’d love to see a winter skincare routine for PM and AM 😊 Thank you for all the work you do to empower your viewers
This was so unique but interesting. You always have some solid recommendations but almost all of these got on my must-investigate-further-list. 😃 ETA: and the only ones that didn't get on my list are those that are already on my wishlist. 😁
I can remember my first serum I ever used it was the Josie Marion Again milk serum, I can't believe I remember that and the funny thing is I still love it and I would still buy it. I think about a year maybe 2 ago was the last time I got it because I got so into Korean skincare.
Great video. How to treat already dry skin that gets extra dry during winter and I use tret nightly. Any suggestions on how to keep from peeling? I don’t want to use an exfoliating product but I have to to get all the dead skin off.
Hiii Kelly! I am using stratia liquid gold and paulas choice omega serum. I love them both. I also have krave great barrier relieve, do you like it? In the past I used modulating glucosides when my barrier was compromised and it didn’t help, it made my face sting, i don’t know why. Thank you for so many Amaizing recomendations. I trust you so very much ❤
Love your serum recs and you didn’t disappoint! I have only tried LG and will continue to purchase it forever because of you. If you had to choose between the two, would you pick LG or Modulating Glucosides?😅
In a past video you said that the Stratia tends to make fair skin yellow. Is that permanent or temporary? That's a pretty scary side effect so I hope you'll respond to me. As always, this video was super informative and thorough. Thanks, Kelly!
It doesn't stain, It just gives you a little yellow tint until it absorbs. I remember hearing about the yellow tint ages ago in reviews before I got it and I think people just overhype it and are being dramatic. I'm very pale (NARS vanilla) and I don't have any issues with it.
I have to ask, where did you get that sweater? I am obsessed 😍 Also I love the recs in this video, a few of these would be Perfect for my skin, especially in the winter months! Thanks Kelly ❤
could you do a video on best ways to apply retin-a for the winter? i have been applying it over moisturizer once it dries. I wash my face and while it is wet apply cera ve moisturizing cream. I let that dry and then apply my retin-a. Is that a good way to do it? i get so confused on if it is still effective this way or not. I have heard mixed things from different derms lol
Hi Kelly, have you ever tried the brand SKINFIX? I think it's Canadian but available in the US. Many of their products are about barrier repairing and I'm finding their famous Triple Lipid-Peptide cream fabulous!! Their Antioxidant Redness Treatment (an overnight leave-on mask) seems pretty fantastic. I was wondering if you'd reviewd or used it. It's a little under the radar, but I believe it deserves more attention. I live in the UK and went through some crazy hoops to get my hands on it.
I have tired it and talked about it... probably back in 2019 (I can't quite remember the timing). It wasn't my favorite tbh, a little too thick for my skin (seems impossible but it was!). It gets a lot of love though so probably just not for me.
Kelly, can you highlight the names of the ingredients you’re talking about? Either on the screen where you’re talking or highlighted on the ingredients list? Sometimes I’m not sure what word you’re saying or it’s hard to spell in my head!
