Windows 11 (and Windows 10) will allow you to install IIS (Internet Information Services) and let you configure an FTP site that you can use to transfer files back and forth over your network. There are several steps you need to perform such as creating an FTP user account, configuring the firewall and creating a folder to store your shared files. This process will work almost identically for Windows 10 computers. It's also a good way to use a Windows desktop PC as a file server.

Remote ftp clients will need to port forward port 20 and 21 to your internal private IP which has the FTP Server, you will also need to add an incoming rule into the windows firewall to allow port 20 and 21.

From the file menu you can use the Export to OVF option to save it as a file that you can then import into VMware Workstation later. It's similar to making an ISO file in theory.
