Although I would have liked to have seen a Pro-1 size I’m pretty exited about this. This is exactly what people collecting the Behringer synths need… some cool digital tones to contrast all the analog stuff.
idk I'll stick to my 6 voice volca fm2. but if this thing has sustain pedal support that'd be cool, definitely something I wish mine had (korg give us a firmware update please)
If you thought sales of the Pro 800 were off the scale... every synth head worth their salt is going to want and buy this... The VS was a classic... this is just a thing of beauty
Behringer has become my go-to Brand for the last 5 years. I just ordered a Pro-800 as a remplacement for my Prophet REV2. Very thrilled for all the upcoming Synths! Oh and very glad that Patrick is back!
pretty cool synths actually, I have a prophet X and much more but still sometimes enjoy and love playing my volca keys. I'm looking forward to that mini Jupiter especially! & these are great for asking for christmas 😋
Sounds incredible and is pretty damn cute. I'm sure Behringer will sell tons of these. The Prophet VS is definitely a dream synth of mine. I would have preferred this particular recreation come in Behringer's standard desktop size with a least six voices and a filter for each voice, not paraphonic, which has limitations.
6:43 I like the fact that these kind of small form factor synths have some sort of keyboard to be able to play at least a note. So you don't need to split the midi keyboard. Oh that's T2 music btw :) 😊 great video
I got tired of my Volcas…but damn if this isn’t something that has caught my attention instantly. Sounds and looks beautiful, thanks Behringer! Definitely gonna sell a Volca and get one of these instead 😁
Everyone is comparing this to a volca but it’s much closer to a modal skulpt. The nice part is that the skulpt has a plastic front plate and this one has a metal front plate. It will go great with circuit tracks
Really cool synth. Thanks Behringer. Now PLEASE remake the "Abstrakt Instruments Avalon Analog Bassline." They now go for $4,000 online. There's a HUGE demand for this thing, and it's long since out of production.
there was a rumor a couple years ago that behringer was working on a box similar to a deluge . that would be sweet as behringer makes nice products for better prices than a lot of the other companies do .
As great as this is, squeazing the rudiments of a VS into this size and price, there are a couple of ESSENTIAL functions you've forgotten to include. 1 - Modulation matrix. 2 - Random Patch Generator. Behringer's mantra is 'We Hear You!'. Well, I hope you hear/read this message and find it possible to include the above functions in a software update. That would make the VS Mini an essential purchase. Thanks for all your hard work.
I picked one of these up last week. I love it, mostly. It sounds great and it's incredibly versatile. It sits well with my portable setup and squeezes nicely into my bag. My biggest gripe is with the keyboard which is horribly unresponsive a lot of the time. I'm hoping a hot fix will sort that out.
@@fivstaa I don’t use Ableton. In Cubasis you just have it connected via midi then assign it to a track. Make sure your midi settings are set to an external source.
@@NoizeLabUK i can't hear the sound, do i need a soundcard to which i connect via the headphone jack on the synth? or do you get sound of the synth in your daw only using the provided usb c cable?
Shiddddd, I would have been good with this vs. the Pro 800. I just ordered that and, without a doubt, will be ordering this in a few months. T2 - Judgement Day.
