The first big problem I discovered with this software is that a wall dimension cannot be locked so that it remains fixed regardless of the changes in the adjacent walls. There is a "lock" function but it doesn't work as expected. This is such a big problem and inconvenience because a small change in one of the walls breaks all the other sizes, requiring to fiddle again with all the dimensions. Back and forth, back and forth. That is crazy! The software should allow to lock wall dimensions so that when an adjacent wall is resized, the locked walls just move, as is, without shrinking or extending if they are "locked". I now regret rushing and buying the Pro version + all the additional packages before exploring the free version and discovering this critical shortcoming.
Thanks for your feedback! It would be helpful if you could provide more information about your specific workflow and what you're aiming to achieve with the wall dimensions. You are welcome to send it by email to support@belightsoft.com. Our current approach may not fully meet your expectations, but it allows flexibility in resizing walls. You can do this by placing handles at points on the wall section, enabling the "Affect underlying objects" option, and then adjusting the size in the Inspector. You can also control which wall ends relocate when resizing, with blue arrows indicating which ends will move. Perhaps this approach could address your concerns, but we'd like to understand more about your scenario to offer a tailored solution or workaround.
