I LOVE Notion how it allows us to create custom workflows, plan projects, schedule tasks, take notes, brain dump/brainstorm, organise your life, visualise it all etc. it’s wonderful!
I basically used your template and readapt it in a way I have access to the notes classes and assignments in one place! Great template to give you structure
out of all the templates that I've tried yours is the only one that literally works for me and it has helped me and my friends in college in keeping track of our notes!! sml for you and your effective system 💕💕💕
I WILL be using Notion this semester for the first time! I have been unable to set it up yet as I get all my course materials on the first day of classes (Sept 8th). It's so painful not being able to plan and prepare in advance, but that's just how my college works :( I'm looking forward to using all of the tools that Notion has to offer for organization!
I recently started using Notion and I landed here while searching about Notion. Thank you very much Alicia! for this video. I may need to watch the video one more time to fully understand your template, but just wow!! I really appreciate your efforts and sending lots of love from India
I was JUST setting up my notion course calendar! Great vid, I hadn't tried the toggle feature before! Here's to a productive & educational semester everyone!
I've been using your templates and I've customized it to fit my situation but I honestly love the fact that its so customizable!! but the fact that it's so customizable actually overwhelmed me at first so your templates came in CLUTCH 😭 but omg congrats on the sponsorship !!!!!
Hi! I've been using Notion for the past 5 months and I absolutely love it. Its been helpful and I get to add so many types of content on it. My whole system works out just fine for me. Thanks for this beautiful video! ❤
What you said about Anki is the reason I created a flashcards database in Notion with spaced repetition so everything is related and all linked together. Great video 😁
Hey Alicia, if you want to browse effectively your cards in Anki you can add a tag to each of them and this way you will find them easily. I didn't try it so I don't know how it works bt on RU-vid there are a lot of videos about it🙈
I’ve never used notion before I think I’m going to download it and see what it’s about looks complicated but obviously I have to have hands on first thanks for the video I enjoyed it bye!
Oh my! I wanted to incoorporate my notion Active recall into anki but I had to type or copy paste everything!! This was amazing you just saved my LIFE GURRRL!! P.S. For easy navigation, you could try adding tags to your flashcards in anki (if you dont do that already).. It will still NOT be VERY easy to find what youre looking for, but you can segregate various topics and study specific ones too...
There she is.....I was counting the hours and checking if RU-vid doesn’t give a notification late.......it did give me 2 mins late notification that Alicia uploads a video.....love you Alicia make more videos of this kind💋❤️❤️❤️❤️✨✨✨🥰🥰
hello. I just learned about notion last week and as a student, I can see that it has some really cool features that would be really helpful to me. at first, I was very overwhelmed with all the new things you can do using notion but watching youtube videos have really helped me get the hang of it. the one thing that I have been looking for on the internet but I can't seem to find is an attendance tracker for students. as a uni student, we have the criteria to hit 70% attendance to attend the exams. and I really want to track which classes I attend and which classes do I skip. and which classes are currently low on attendance. I am looking to build a database where I enter the subject name, date, and a check box if the class is attended or not. and based on the no of classes missed/attended it could calculate in which classes I have low attendance. I thought this I a pretty common thing and I would find at least one person who has made something like this but unfortunately, I haven't. can someone help me build one?
thank you for showing that we can export Notion AR pages into anki 😭😭 I was debating which to use for this semester since it’s so tedious putting info in both notion and anki
Wow I actually did not know that you could make flashcards for Anki from Notion. That's actually such a lifesaver, because I'm planning to transfer my toggled questions to Anki as flashcards, but it's such a chore to transfer them all mano-mano.
thanks so much for the great tutorial! you’ve given us how to set up motion.. can you show us how you use your template? (when you schedule your revision schedule, your process for completion tasks after each lecture, etc)?
Finally sponsored by Notion, YAY! I just started to use Notion for studying thanks to your videos and I love it. Hopefully one day we would have a French version 😁
I think once you learn how to use Notion it can be a game changer...I just need to find the time to learn it but this video made it so much clearer as I would use it like you have.... great video and informative 😁🇬🇧✌🏼
Thanks so much Alicia, I've tried to use Notion multiple times before but just gave up because I couldn't get the hang of it. Then I came across your Notion setup video and used your template to set up my Notion page over the weekend, hoping to be more productive this year!!! P.S. Where can I find those cute heart/lung 'emojis' you used on your Notion page?
no clue if you'll see this but how long does it take you to write out your notes? they're so pretty! they'd take me years to do😞 liKe how do u keep up in class while writing such neat notes
This is so great. I love your template!! I have been using the one that Janice Studies made since about January, and hers combined with yours is perfect for me and my study style!!
How do you add your digital notes into your notion? I have been trying multiple ways of doing this and so far, nothing is successful. Thanks for any help!!
I love notion so much... I also tell everyone to use it, haha. whenever anyone asks me how i stay so organized im like :) have you heard of our lord and savior notion
if someone could take the time to answer i'd be very grateful:i'm currently a political science student and i'm looking for a software to take my notes so i'd like to know if notion can be an good option for taking note in a lecture directly (as a replacement of google docs or word )
Hi not a pol sci major but an economics major lol but yeah I used this to take notes during lectures and it's really good. You can highlight some texts for important points the prof said or use the callout element. Theres also the toggle list element which is super useful for my notes, it's my fave one. I'd write a question my prof asked thru the toggle element then I click the toggle arrow and it drops down to show his answer /explanation to it which I'd type in. When I click the arrow again, it hides it back up. I love it
