In case anyone else came across an issue where having too many clouds introduced black artifacts, I figured out that you need to increase the maximum number of "transparent" bounces in the Light Paths section of the Render settings.
it took me 36546 years to learn how to use the interface and set a layout exactly like yours. Now finally can get started. Love your work btw man thank you so much.
When you show the Inset > Individual and then extruding along normals with Alt+E, you might also want to take a look at the Depth option of the Inset tool which you get with holding Ctrl. I use it a lot when making kind of multiple stepped insets and no E or Alt+E at all, because you can either use Depth like Extrude along Normals when you keep the (Inset) Thickness at 0, or you can have slanted extrusions like as if you were scaling them down after extruding.
These youtube videos are just amazing! I badly want to take course but cant afford that much right now 🥲 but would love to see more videos on this channel!
Hey, a technical question: don't you think your photos looks different on FB and Insta then what you see on your screen? Everything I upload looks low quality on phone, even I feel good after PS on my screen.
It could be a compression thing. Some platforms may scale them down or even convert them to jpegs. Though I'll admit I'm not an expert when it comes to social media.
